Witchcraft Works is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ryu Mizunagi. It was first published in 2007 and has since gained a significant following. The story takes place in a world where witches exist and are secretly protected by the government. The main character, Takamiya Honoka, is an ordinary high school student who discovers that he is the target of various witches who want to capture him for his latent powers. Fortunately, he is saved by the school's student council president, Kagari Ayaka, who is revealed to be a powerful fire witch. Kagari takes it upon herself to protect Honoka from the witches' attacks, leading to a series of thrilling and comedic adventures.

My experience with the Magic Fest in a box

Back in March, I've purchased the Commander box for the price of 155 euros. With shipping that total came to 175 euros. Today you can buy the Commander edition for 145 because there are no prize items.

I received it at the end of May with no shipping update, it just showed up. Cool. When I got the box I opened it up on video to the usual goods but things were a bit messed around. The cards looked like they were thrown in but I counted it up and everything was there.

However, I received 80x4 CFB sleeves for my Commander product and 100 Eclipse sleeves. The ad suggested art sleeves which disappointed me immensely. I also got 2x100 Deck Boxes with artwork but the other two were 2x80 sleeve deck boxes which again, are not suited for the commander format.

I've logged a complaint, was given a ticket and two weeks later no response.

In my video I was told they would respond faster via facebook so I hit them up there and almost immediately got a response. In my message I told them I was okay with sending them back the items but they said there is nothing they can do about the sleeves because I should have had enough sleeves to make "a commander deck". Commander is played with 4 people and I had enough to make 3.2 decks with their sleeves unless I want to mix and match with Eclipse one.

After some back and forth they said they couldn't do anything about the sleeve situation but would send out deck boxes that suit the format. Just want to let people know the following from my experience here:

  1. If you only want the singles and such, go for it they are nice.
  2. Your sleeves may not be art sleeves and may not be enough to make 4 Commander decks.
  3. If you want to complain do not use the magic fest e-mail. Just message them on facebook.
