The Sandman protection amulet is a powerful talisman that is believed to protect its wearer from the malicious and negative energies of the Sandman. According to folklore, the Sandman is a supernatural being who visits people while they sleep, sprinkling sand into their eyes to induce sleep and bring them pleasant dreams. However, there are legends that depict the Sandman as a malevolent entity, capable of causing nightmares and insomnia. The Sandman protection amulet is often crafted as a pendant or a charm that can be worn around the neck or attached to clothing. It is usually made from materials such as silver, iron, or wood, believed to possess protective properties against supernatural beings. The amulet is often engraved with symbols and sigils associated with protection, such as ancient runes or sacred symbols.

The following is a list of the only artifact tokens without a subtype.

However, if the Equipment grants an ability to the equipped creature with gains or has , the equipped creature s controller is the only one who can activate that ability. It can even go infinite with the right cards, but it can also be extremely underwhelming when you only get to copy something small, making it a vulnerable 5-mana do-nothing card.

The amulet is often engraved with symbols and sigils associated with protection, such as ancient runes or sacred symbols. The purpose of the Sandman protection amulet is to create a barrier between the wearer and the Sandman, preventing him from entering the dreams and causing harm. It is believed that wearing the amulet can bring a sense of security and peace, allowing for restful sleep and pleasant dreams.

The best Artifact Creature token generators

There seem to be a lot of cards out there that create artifact creature tokens in one way or another. I've been working on a [[Breya, Etherium Shaper]] deck that wants to "go-wide" and then either wins by pumping creatures up or sacrificing them to Breya. These are the best artifact creature token generators that I could find:

I'll separate them into 2 types: Type 1 taps, or only triggers once, or usually only once per turn. They are very slow token generators, but therefore they work independant. Type 2 means usually "When" or "Whenever"-abilities. They are combo enablers, but in exchange they do nothing without other cards to trigger them.

The best type 1 artifact creature token generators are either planeswalkers or [[Retrofitter Foundry]]. It is strictly better than [[Nuisance Engine]] and still has other abilities on top of that. [[Puppet Conjurer]] is also good, but only makes one-time-use tokens. [[Myr Turbine]] is a personal favorite of mine, since it doesn't cost mana to tap, making it valuable for untap combos. [[Thopter Spy Network]] is also really good. [[Soul Foundry]] / [[Prototype Portal]] deserve a shoutout too, but they can be situational. [[Mechanized Production]] is a decent win-con, but not something you want to slap on some random artifact creature.

Type 2 is harder to pin down, since it heavily depends on the other cards you run to trigger them. [[Mirrorworks]] is a good example for that problem. It can even go infinite with the right cards, but it can also be extremely underwhelming when you only get to copy something small, making it a vulnerable 5-mana do-nothing card. [[Myr Battlesphere]] is okay for 7 on it's own, but it is completely nuts when you can recur or flicker it. [[Metallurgic Summonings]] is great with instant/sorcery shenanigans, but not very applicable in an artifact theme deck. Saheeli, Sublime Artificer is similar, but much better. I would say the best are Saheeli, [[Efficient Construction]] and the new [[Mirrodin Besieged]]. They combo super easily with cards like [[Scrap Trawler]] and [[Krark-Clan Ironworks]].

In addition to its protective properties, the Sandman protection amulet is often associated with enhancing psychic abilities and intuition. It is believed to heighten one's spiritual awareness and ability to perceive subtle energies. Some people also use the amulet during meditation or spiritual practices to connect with their inner self and explore the realm of dreams. The use of amulets and talismans for protection is a common practice in many cultures around the world. People have been using such objects to shield themselves from evil and negative influences for centuries. The Sandman protection amulet is just one example of these artifacts, designed specifically to ward off the Sandman's malevolent intentions. Whether the Sandman truly exists or not, the belief in the protective powers of the amulet holds great significance to those who wear it. It serves as a symbol of faith and a reminder that we have the ability to protect ourselves from negative energies and influences, whether they are spiritual or psychological in nature. Overall, the Sandman protection amulet is a powerful talisman that provides a sense of security and protection against the Sandman's negative energies. Its use as a protective object reflects the universal human desire for safety and peace during sleep, and the belief in the importance of maintaining a healthy and undisturbed dream world..
