The Throne of Magical Arcana is a highly sought-after artifact in the world of magic. It is believed to possess immense power and knowledge, making it one of the most coveted objects among mages and sorcerers. Legend has it that the Throne was created by an ancient sorcerer who wished to consolidate all magical knowledge in one place. He spent years crafting and enchanting the Throne, imbuing it with the essence of powerful spells and arcane secrets. It is said that the Throne was made from rare and exotic materials, including dragon bones, phoenix feathers, and ethereal crystals. The Throne is described as an exquisite piece of furniture, adorned with intricate carvings and mystical symbols.

After charging, these all glowed about the same once the lights went out. My camera (at least as used by me) wasn't able to capture the way the glitter in Ghosted showed up against the glowing background; it made it more interesting to look at in the dark that the other three.

Wicked Witch Manicure

I was brainstorming fun ideas for a Halloween inspired manicure when my friend Kelly posted about yellow nails. Yellow nail polish? HOW had this never occurred to me? It’s so fun and fresh and unexpected. I love the idea of wearing it on its own as an homage to the season, but it’s also the perfect backdrop to incorporate into something a little more special.

I initially thought I might like a jack-o-lantern set of nails, but it didn’t seem quite right. So I scanned some of my favorite costumes from the past. Present nails? (Yup, I was a present one year when I was about eight, complete with a crepe paper bow hat.) Cleopatra nails? (Not obvious enough.) ELPHABA NAILS?

For this manicure, you’ll need:

– yellow nail polish (Mine is Sally Hansen’s Mellow Yellow. Was mostly ok, but not completely opaque.)

– green nail polish (Mine is Zoya’s Neely.)

– cotton swabs/nail polish remover (in case you need to take care of any mistakes)

Start with some clean nails and polish with a few coats of yellow, to your desired opacity.

Once dry, use your black nail art pen to draw on your witches hat (a triangle with a horizontal line across the bottom) onto the nails you wish to accent, like so:

Let dry for just a minute or two. Then, add a dot of green polish just below to create the witch’s face.

Repeat for as many nails as you like (I added a mini witch to my thumb, middle finger and pinky.) You may wish to go over the top of your witch’s face (green dot) with a quick swipe of black for a more realistic hat-wearing look.

Let dry for a few minutes and you’re ready to go! (If you’re looking for the mani to last at least a few days, swipe your favorite top coat on top.)

When I look at my hand right side up, the design almost has an art deco feel and I love it. It’s extra fun when someone asks me what the design is and I get to let them in on the secret of the tiny witches!

(Writing this post makes me want to be Elphaba again. Without the crazy amount of time involved with putting on that darn green makeup. Anyone offer one minute green spray tans?)

The Throne's primary function is to serve as a conduit for magic. It is said that when a mage sits upon the Throne, they gain access to a vast reservoir of power and knowledge. They can tap into the collective consciousness of all past and present magical practitioners, allowing them to learn and master spells that were previously unattainable. However, gaining control of the Throne is no easy task. It is protected by powerful enchantments and guarded by dangerous magical creatures. Only those deemed worthy, after undergoing a series of trials and tests, can claim ownership of the Throne. Once a mage attains the Throne, they are bestowed with great responsibility. They become the guardian of magical wisdom and must use the Throne's power wisely. It is their duty to protect the balance between light and dark magic, ensuring that the secrets of the Throne are not misused or abused. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of the Throne is the possibility of unlocking its true potential. Many believe that the Throne holds even greater powers and ancient secrets that are yet to be discovered. Some even speculate that it holds the key to eternal life or the ability to reshape reality itself. The search for the Throne of Magical Arcana continues to this day, with countless mages dedicating their lives to unlocking its secrets. It remains an object of fascination and desire, representing the pinnacle of magical achievement and knowledge. Only time will tell what mysteries the Throne holds and who will ultimately claim its power..
