Magic Tree House is a popular series of children's books written by Mary Pope Osborne. The twenty-sixth installment in the series is titled "Good Morning, Gorillas." In this book, the main characters, Jack and Annie, travel to the mountains of Africa. Their mission is to find a rare mountain gorilla as they try to solve a puzzle. The main idea of the book is the adventure and excitement that Jack and Annie experience while searching for the gorillas. The story captures their encounters with local animals, resilient vegetation, and the fascinating wildlife of Africa.

The greater reason (and problem, to be truthful) is what I call the internet influence. Someone has a magical moment–let’s say they happened into a shop one morning and their child was asked to wake up Tinker Bell. It was an experience that gave the parents goosebumps and gave the child a memory they won’t forget. Parent comes home to share the joy of that experience. Soon, everyone wants to make that moment happen for their child, and you have a morning “running of the ballgowns” as parents drag their children at almost a run to be the first there so their child can be the one who wakes up Tinker Bell. Many kids arrive, but only one gets the chance to wake up Tinker Bell. The other parents are angry. The other kids think their parents are angry with them and start crying. It ends up being a very un-magical moment all around.

Cinderella and Prince Charming rode at the front and characters such as Sorcerer Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Donald, Chip and Dale rode on different sections of the float while Fairy Godmother followed behind. Finale Unit Based on a garden complete with a water fountain with classic characters such as Snow White, The Seven Dwarfs, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, Alice, Mad Hatter who replaced the White Rabbit near the end of its run , Baloo, King Louie, Mary Poppins, Pocahontas, Pinocchio, Geppetto, Peter Pan, and Captain Hook.

Throughout the book, the author provides descriptive details about the African landscape, allowing readers to visualize the lush forests, dense jungles, and towering mountains. The gorillas they encounter are portrayed as majestic creatures with their own challenging world.

Children Believe in Magic Moments

Magic Moments is the only wish granting organization devoted exclusively to creating magic moments in the lives of children in Alabama with chronic life-threatening or acute life-altering medical conditions. A magic moment allows children and their families to forget, even if just for a little while, the fear and pain of their conditions.
