Moon Magic: Lunar Influences in the Cosmic Witch Aesthetic

By admin

The cosmic witch aesthetic is a popular theme within the witchcraft and pagan community. It draws inspiration from the vastness and mystery of the cosmos, combining elements of celestial bodies, stars, planets, galaxies, and the universe itself. This aesthetic is often characterized by its dark and mystical vibe, featuring deep cosmic colors such as indigo, purple, black, and navy blue. It incorporates symbols like the moon, stars, and astrology into its visual representation. Cosmic witches decorate their spaces with celestial tapestries, star-shaped candles, crystal balls, and other cosmic-themed decor. They may also incorporate elements of outer space, such as astronaut figurines or meteorite fragments, to enhance their connection to the cosmic realm.

Princess Pandemonium! Black Clover Chapter 252 BREAKDOWN

As I am writing this; I am currently talking with my brother(at the same time I finished the My Hero Academia breakdown review) about Izuku having a quirk. We do that a lot; talk about Izuku with different quirks. We actually joked about there’s a whole bunch of Youtube videos about Izuku having a whole bunch of different quirks, and then we started doing them- been so ever since. What does that have to do with anything? Nothing! But I also have an online interview today, so I’m just decompressing! Black Clover Chapter 252: “Water Crusade.”

Clover Kingdom Princess Noelle vs Battle Queen Vanica

Diving right into the big battle; we see Noelle using Valkyrie Dress to get up close and personal with M’lady Vanica, and then using “Sea Dragon’s Roar.” But Vanica uses “Blood Magic: Red Beast.” That’s right; the girl uses Blood Magic- just like the Witch Queen! This chapter let’s us know how the Dark Triad’s magic operates.

According to Lolopechika(I’m seeing it in the official release and fan translations, so I’ll just live with it); the Dark Triad, even though they aren’t hybrids, can use 2 types of Magic! Their own magic attribute, and the Devil they’re possessed by. The Dark Triad themselves seem to have some bodily manipulation magic; Vanica has Blood magic, Zenon has Bone magic, and Dante has some kind of flesh magic. It makes me wonder what would happen if they did a combined magic attack. It’d probably end up being a human being, wouldn’t it? I wonder………. As far as their Devil’s magic; Megicula(Vanica’s Devil) has Curse Warding magic(what attribute is not revealed this chapter), Lucifero(Dante’s Devil) has Gravity magic, and we don’t know what Zenon’s Devil has.

I actually want to do a whole post on the Dark Triad and what they represent for the story, but “Black Clover” posts like that don’t get the reactions I hope for, and I don’t know how my schedule is going to look since I’m hoping to get a job soon. But no matter what; I’ll keep doing blog activity- I swear it!

Lady Vanica’s Monster

Meanwhile; Best Girl Mimosa chan is is up against that Frog Dark Disciple guy. But the blast she used on him last chapter had a trap spell embedded in it: “Magic Controlling Weed Seed.” I think this was the same spell she used on Sol to win that match during the Royal Knights Exam, or maybe it’s a new spell she learned during the time skip. I might like it a bit more that way. The ever loving Mimosa tells Noelle and Lolopechika to focus on Vanica.

The next scene……..I’m using images from the fan translations. I’m not entirely sure what this is: It’s a scene in which Vanica and her Dark Disciple are attacked by a barrier created by Lolopechika-I think. Like I said’ I could be missing a page that was added in the official release. I’ll probably add the information as I check out the official release. the barrier slashes at her opponents. Vanica uses the Crimson Beast to block it, and the Dark Disciple is slashed- only for Megicula’s curse to kick in and cause him to heal. He says in ecstacy “Lady Vanica’s magic are both great-Dohohohohohohoh!”

The Dark Triad’s Big Secret-WHOLY CR@P; SEKRE?!

Noelle flashes back to when she asks Lolopechika about the Triad- which is where we get the explanation that the Triad can use 2 magic types. Back in the present; Lolopechika uses her former battles with Vanica and Megicula as a base for a battle strategy. Vanica, riding on her Blood Beast, excitedly exclaims: “As expected of Lolopechika chan! I wonder if Zenon and Big Brother Dante are having fun right now~~~~~~~~?! But I get the best one- Lolopechika chan! I CAN KILL YOU.

In her zeal; she let’s it slip who Dante and Zenon were after- which alerts Noelle that there might be some trouble. She demands to know what the other 2 are doing, to which the savage Lady vanica says “Why should I tell a nobody like you?” BAM!!

Since Vanica won’t spill; Lolopechika taps into……..a little ability Heart Kingdom Queen’s have. Since it’s on Netflix, I’ll ask the question: Do you guys remember how the Avatar state worked in Avatar: The Last Airbender? It allowed Aang to access the “knowledge of past Avatar’s.” That’s what this is. She’s accessing the knowledge passed down to her by her predecessors. Don’t know how this works in the context of “Black Clover,” but I think it might have something to do with her crown or staff. Maybe they’re like “storage magic items.” Lumiere would be so proud!

She pulls a book out and learns about what the “Tree of Qliphoth” can do. And then reveals that, should the Triad succeed in their goals: “90% of the people on this continent will die- and the world will collapse!!” And when asked how she feels; Lady Vanica simply tells them: “I want to boil my blood with the strong ones! I have no interest in the weak.” So, like a lot of anime characters; she’s a battle maniac. I could make a joke about her getting with Luck, but~~ it’s beneath me(and she’s MINE).

You see a lot of characters in anime; people who love to fight- eat, breathe, sleep, sh!t, sweat, and bleed battle. You have the one note characters like……………COUGH COUGH*Goku. There, I said it*COUGH COUGH- to the more “complex” characters like Kenpachi Zaraki from Bleach. We’ve just met Vanica, so I can’t really place her yet, but I have faith in Tabata sensei’s writing skill.

“Blood is Thicker Than Water-” Truer Words Have Never Been Spoken

Lolopechika gets really upset at Vanica’s blatant disregard for the lives of the people here, so she “kicks it up a knotch.” Combining her Country Level Mana Zone, her array(Runes), and using Udine’s Water Spirit Magic- she uses(for lack of a better term and really don’t see anything surpassing this-at least not from her) her ultimate attack: “Water Spirit Magic-Mana Zone + Mana Method(Array): Ludic Sanctuary!

Lolopechika Used “Whirlpool-” It’s effective.

According to ScienceDaily; “Blood flows differently than water; it flows viscously and rather erratically. Experts refer to blood as a ‘non-Newtonian fluids,’ which has a flow property that changes depending on the condition, with some becoming more viscous, while others become less viscous.” Wow; Tabata manages to use science to explain typing match ups in a Magic battle series. This isn’t even the first instance of this.

Look at Yami vs Patri: Their magic attribute are polar opposites- and Yami used his Dark magic to pull in Patri. Because of the science of a Black Hole: “The gravity is so strong that even Light cannot escape.” This can also be applied to Yami vs Dante. Yami used his Darkness Magic’s gravity to negate Dante’s Gravity spell. I like that he does this; it’s a lot more in-depth than something like Pokemon.

Anyway; not only is Vanica’s blood magic diluted to be half it’s original power, but this amount of water boosts Noelle’s magic power. She uses a new variation of Valkyrie Dress: “Mermaid.” Tabata sensei doesn’t always do fan service. But when he does-BOY does he deliver! Although I have to say that this version of Valkyrie Dress is kind of impractical. For how…….magnificent it looks; it shows off a little too much skin- her weak spots are completely exposed. But she’s underwater, so I guess it’s fine for right now. But I fully expect this to come back and bite her in the tail.

She uses her lance to stab Vanica- who coughs up Blood and says “Not Bad!ClearlyNo effect. Black Clover Chapter 252 END! So……2 Best Girls and a back up got into some pretty cool fights this week. We got some fan service from Noelle, and learned that there are other forms of Valkyrie Dress. Pretty Fre@kin’ Awesome. I hope Tabata can keep this momentum! Til next time!

His power needs to be superior to everyone to have the best magic. That's why I said I didn't care which translation is correct.
Cosmic witch aesthetic

These crystals are believed to enhance intuition, psychic abilities, and spiritual connection. They are often used in rituals and spellwork to channel cosmic energy and harness the powers of the universe. The cosmic witch aesthetic also embraces astrology as a tool for self-discovery and personal growth. Astrological symbols, birth charts, and zodiac signs are often featured in their decor or incorporated into their spellwork. Cosmic witches may follow lunar or planetary rituals, aligning their practices with the movements and energies of the celestial bodies. This aesthetic is not limited to physical space and decor. Cosmic witches often incorporate elements of the cosmos into their clothing and personal style. They may wear celestial-inspired jewelry, galaxy-print clothing, or even incorporate cosmic themes into their makeup looks. The cosmic witch aesthetic is ultimately a celebration of the unknown, the vastness of the universe, and the connection between human beings and the cosmic energies that surround us. It allows witches to tap into the mysteries of the universe, finding inspiration, guidance, and power in the cosmic realm..

Reviews for "The Cosmic Bookshelf: Must-Read Books for Cosmic Witches"

I was highly disappointed by the cosmic witch aesthetic. It seemed like a poorly put together collection of random celestial objects and witchy symbols. The colors were loud and garish, and the overall ambiance was overwhelming. I expected something more ethereal and mystical, but instead, it felt like a tacky attempt at being trendy. I couldn't find any connection or cohesiveness in the designs, and it left me feeling disenchanted.
2. Mark Johnson - 2 stars
The cosmic witch aesthetic did not resonate with me at all. It felt like a forced attempt at blending two unrelated themes. The cosmic elements, such as stars, planets, and galaxies, clashed with the traditional witchcraft symbols, resulting in a jumbled mess. The colors were too bright and clashed with one another, and there was no subtlety or refinement in the designs. It felt like a missed opportunity to create a truly enchanting and mesmerizing aesthetic. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a refined and cohesive witchy atmosphere.
3. Emily Thompson - 1 star
The cosmic witch aesthetic was a major letdown for me. It lacked the elegance and sophistication that I associate with witchcraft. Instead, it felt like a cheap attempt to hop onto the celestial trend without fully understanding its essence. The symbols and elements were thrown together without any thought or consideration for their significance, resulting in a chaotic and disjointed aesthetic. The colors were gaudy and unnatural, making it difficult to appreciate the artwork. Overall, I found the cosmic witch aesthetic to be superficial and lacking in true spiritual depth.
4. Brian Anderson - 2 stars
I had high hopes for the cosmic witch aesthetic, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The designs seemed to focus more on blinding neon colors and flashy elements than on creating a serene and mystical ambience. The celestial objects were exaggerated and cartoonish, lacking the delicate subtlety I imagined. It felt like a missed opportunity to explore the depths of cosmic magic and create something truly unique. The overall result was a collection that felt more gimmicky than spiritual or enchanting.

The cosmic witch aesthetic was a complete disappointment for me. The designs felt childish and uninspired, lacking the sophistication and depth I associate with witchcraft. The colors were garish and clash-prone, making it difficult to appreciate the artistry behind the pieces. There was no subtlety or finesse in the execution, and it felt like a poor attempt at capitalizing on the trend without offering anything innovative or captivating. Overall, I found the cosmic witch aesthetic to be underwhelming and lacking the magic and allure I was hoping for.
