Cherry Magic Thailand is an official Thai adaptation of the popular Japanese BL (Boys' Love) drama series, Cherry Magic!: Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard? The Thai version, which is set to air in 2021, follows the story of Kao and Pete, portrayed by actors Chi and Ninth, respectively. The story revolves around Kao, a 30-year-old office worker who has never had a girlfriend and is still a virgin. One day, he discovers that whenever he touches someone, he can read their thoughts. He realizes that this newfound power can help him navigate his romantic life, particularly with his colleague, Pete. The acting felt incredibly forced and the chemistry between the two main characters was lacking. The storyline also felt rushed and poorly executed. Overall, this preview did not do justice to the wonderful original series and I would not recommend it to anyone.
