Piss in pots, also known as magic beans, is a peculiar and rather curious topic. The concept revolves around the idea of using urine to fertilize plants, specifically the soil in pots or containers. While it may sound strange, urine has been used as a natural fertilizer for centuries in various parts of the world. The idea behind using urine as a fertilizer is rooted in its nutrient content. Urine contains a variety of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. These nutrients are crucial for plant growth and development.

As Return Magic closes down, how to decide on the best alternative return solution?

If you have been using Return Magic's solution to manage your returns, two things are pretty clear - first, your store is on Shopify, and second, you might have already started hunting for a replacement, as Return Magic will get decommissioned by July 06th, 2022.

In this article, I will share key pointers that you should look for while deciding to find the best alternative for Return Magic. However, if you are the one who needs a precise conclusion without having to go through the entire article, you can simply follow the link below and pick the one recommended by Shopify as the best alternative for Return Magic: Return Magic Alternatives

Here is what you should look for while deciding upon your alternative to Return Magic:

  1. Consumer Experience: The #1 reason why brands wanted to have a returns solution is to make it hassle-free for shoppers to place return/ exchange requests. Therefore, while exploring returns apps, understanding consumer experience deliverability is the most important.
  2. Everyone automates, but very less reduce returns: The reason why an app exists in the Shopify store is that it promises to automate the return process in one way or the other. A great returns app can use the technology to help brands reduce returns. Therefore, look for apps that help reduce returns.
  3. Be Careful about apps that can potentially shoot up your returns: Traditionally, the returns app makes money on the number of returns processed. For brands, this is Equals to Loss+Cost. Never go for an app that can potentially shoot up your returns and it is very easy to find a good match by answering these two questions - first, do they have returns reduction features? second, do they have a pricing plan that can accommodate your monthly returns quota for a fixed price?
  4. Take a Free Trial: Look for an app that can provide you with a free trial for a month or two. A good returns management company will never be in a hurry to make money and provide a decent time to help the brand try out its solution. Also, ask if they provide migration services from the existing app to the new one.
  5. Look at the customer ratings and reviews: While a returns app should no doubt be functionally viable, meaning, aligned to the returns/ exchange workflow and policies of the brand, customer reviews and ratings is also a critical piece to look for and understand experiences of brands who are actually using the app.
  6. Don't forget to look at the helm: The reason why you have read this up till here is probably that you may have to go through the pain of replacing a fully functional system and establishing a new one. So that you do not wish to do this again sooner, look for what the company is made for. Their mission and vision. Are they only Shopify-centric or have plans to go above and beyond.

Conclusion: A good returns app not only automates but also reduces returns, gives an awesome consumer experience, and keeps the overall return cost low.

These nutrients are crucial for plant growth and development. By using urine as a fertilizer, these nutrients are reintroduced into the soil, providing necessary nourishment to the plants. In addition to essential nutrients, urine also contains urea, a compound that further contributes to plant growth.

We've been using Return Magic and are heartbroken about it being shut down. When selling well, we get about one refund request per day, so somewhere between 25 to 40 per month is a good estimate. We loved Return Magic's functionality, but also its pricing. It was very easy for us and for customers to use. Among the non-negotiables we're looking for are:

- Customer should be able to generate a prepaid return label automatically

- App should be able to differentiate between customers from US and abroad (because we don't do free returns for non-US customers)

- Affordable pricing (Return Magic was free for us, so as close to that as possible would be great)

- Easy to use on both ends

- Hopefully something that will buy the return labels either directly from Shopify or from Shippo as that's currently what I'm using for shipping

If you were using Return Magic, what app are you switching to? If you've been using a different one that meets the criteria above, please let us know as well! Thank you!

Return Magic shut down! How to decide on the best alternative Shopify returns app?

If there’s one thing e-commerce businesses can absolutely not afford to skimp out on, it is the return experience for their customers. A good return policy can make or break a business, and it is, therefore, important to select a good return management app for your Shopify store.

Return Magic was one such return management app. It was widely used and had a lot of extensive functionality. However, the application was shut down on the 6th of July, 2022. As a result, many businesses are now in the market for new return management software, and we’re here to help!

There are a lot of things to keep in mind while deciding on an alternative to Return Magic. There are many Shopify Returns apps available in the store, but not all of them are ideal, and not all of them would fit the specific needs of your business. Keeping this in mind, here is a list of criteria to consider while selecting your next return management application.

1. Understand Return Workflow

The first step is to figure out the return workflow of the application you are considering. The specific return policy they offer, how they process exchanges or refunds, the number of courier partners they have tied up with, and so on. For instance, the ClickPost Returns Plus App for Shopify allows for a high degree of functionality and flexibility in designing your returns strategy.

2. Look at the Figures

Next up, it would do well to try and calculate the overall RTO percentage of the app you are looking at. A high RTO percentage is usually unfavorable for your business. Therefore, it is necessary to select software that leverages its technology to reduce RTO as much as possible.

3. Interface and Intuitiveness

Thirdly, you need to take a look at how intuitive or user-friendly the application is. Whether the interface is pleasing or attractive to customers, whether they have high customer retention statistics, and whether their ad placement strategies are successful are all important factors to keep in mind.

4. Responsiveness of Customer Service

Perhaps the most important point to consider is how responsive the team behind the application is. It is important to select software that responds to you and your customers’ queries quickly and diligently. A bad customer service experience can turn off potential buyers to a large extent.

5. Do your Research

Before settling on an application for sure, be sure to have performed your own research thoroughly. Look at the reviews from other businesses, and try to gauge and estimate the overall satisfaction that users derive from them. Using this tip and the other ones above, you’ll be sure to make an informed decision that will satisfy the interests of your business.

Urea is converted by bacteria in the soil into ammonia, which acts as a natural source of nitrogen. Nitrogen is an essential element for plant growth and is responsible for promoting leafy green foliage. Despite the potential benefits of using urine as a fertilizer, there are certain considerations to keep in mind. First and foremost, it is important to dilute the urine before using it as a fertilizer. Concentrated urine may contain high levels of salts and other compounds that could harm or even kill plants. Diluting urine with water at a ratio of 10 parts water to 1 part urine is generally recommended. Another important consideration is the hygiene aspect of using urine as a fertilizer. Since urine is a bodily waste product, it may contain pathogens or harmful bacteria. It is crucial to ensure that the urine used for fertilizing plants is free from any contaminants. To mitigate this risk, it is advisable to use urine from healthy individuals and avoid using urine from those with certain medical conditions or taking medications that could impact its composition. Furthermore, it is important to note that urine should not be used as the sole source of fertilizer. While urine contains many essential nutrients, it may lack certain micronutrients that are crucial for plant growth. It is recommended to use urine as a supplement to other fertilizers or organic matter to ensure a well-rounded nutrient balance for plants. In conclusion, the concept of using urine as a fertilizer, or piss in pots magic beans, is an interesting one. While it may seem unconventional, urine contains essential nutrients that can benefit plant growth. However, caution should be exercised in its usage to ensure proper dilution and hygiene standards. Overall, the topic showcases the potential for innovative and sustainable approaches to fertilization in gardening and agriculture..
