I care more about a side character that appears in like, 5 chapters tops the doctor than I do about this major character with a flashback arc almost as long as the story up to that point. So much so, that in so many of the latter chapters in the series, there are a ton of ppl complaining about being confused on Line Webtoon comments and other ppl trying to explain the story.
