The knight with a sword and shield stood tall and proud. He was adorned in shining armor, a symbol of strength and honor. His eyes glistened with determination as he prepared to face his enemy on the battlefield. Born and raised in a land ravaged by war, the knight had dedicated his life to the pursuit of justice and the protection of the innocent. He had trained relentlessly, honing his skills with the sword and shield to become the formidable warrior he was now. But the knight with a sword and shield was more than just a formidable fighter.

Minnie always looks adorable, but she looks especially amazing when she's dressed up as a witch for Halloween! She's so adorable, though, that she's definitely a good witch. She may have spider friends and stir a cauldron, but she's still as sweet as can be.

Each project begins with a passion for true quality embroidered patches, faux fur cut with care, and hand-selected fabrics that are as durable as they are comfortable. But the knight with a sword and shield was more than just a formidable fighter. He possessed a heart of gold, brimming with compassion and empathy. He fought not just for glory and victory, but also for the values he held dear - justice, equality, and freedom.

Minnie Witch Costume

Personally I like to take an outfit of a character and make it unique and make it my own. Mostly because I can’t afford to pay someone to make an exact replica for me, and I am not talented enough to make one for myself.

Halloween Mickey and Minnie have the coolest outfits and when I found this adorable purple velvet dress at Savers, I knew I needed to make it into Minnie’s costume for Jas.

This DIY is super easy and inexpensive but Jasmin keeps asking to wear it!

base dress (mine is from savers)

orange ribbon ($.99 at Jo-anns)

orange fabric (I just bought one of those squares for $2.50)

doll witch hat (Jo-anns doll assembly section $1.99 before coupon)

light up pumpkins (dollar store)

pumpkin buttons (Jo-anns)

witch socks (mine from the dollar section at Target)

First I sewed 3 strips of orange ribbon down the front of her dress

Next I cut strips of the orange fabric and ruffled them and sewed them around the arm holes, but not all the way around, so Jasmin would still be able to move her arms up and down and it wouldn’t be too tight.

I then sewed the button to the top of the middle strip of ribbon

I took my light up pumpkins and laid them out on the bottom of the dress, spaced how I wanted them. I then sewed a few stitches around the black cord fastening them to the dress.

The battery pack for the lights is up under the dress. I took the leftover orange fabric and rolled it over the pack, making a pocket, and hot glueing it shut. I made sure I could reach and use the on/off button, then sewed the pocket with the battery pack onto the dress.

I took some of the ribbon and tied it into little bows over each pumpkin light, and stitched them down. The first time she wore it, they kept coming untied. So after I tied the ribbon into bows, I put one or two stitched through each one to secure it.

The hat is super easy as well. Hot glue the orange ribbon to the brim and a little bow on the front. Next hot glue a circle of felt over the opening on the bottom. I cut two slits in the felt to slide a hair clip through.

Add your cute striped socks and there you go!

Jasmin had a blast twirling in her light up pumpkin dress! And has requested to wear it several times!

For my skirt, I just cut strips of the orange ribbon and sewed them i to the pleats of my skirt.

If you make this please tag me on IG @boundingonabuget I would love to see how you made your outfit unique!

Sacred solstice chest

With every swing of the sword, he defended the weak and oppressed. With every parry of his shield, he deflected the blows meant for others. He was a guardian, a beacon of hope for those in need. The knight with a sword and shield was not without flaws, though. He struggled with his own demons, haunted by the memories of battles lost and lives that could not be saved. The weight of his responsibilities weighed heavily on his shoulders, but he carried them with unwavering resolve. His sword was not just a weapon, but a symbol of his commitment to his cause. It represented his unwavering dedication and the courage to fight for what was right. With every clash of steel, he knew he was making a difference, no matter how small. His shield served as a barrier between him and his foes, allowing him to protect himself and others from harm. It was a shield of righteousness, deflecting the darkness and standing as a testament to his unwavering resolve. The knight with a sword and a shield may have been just one man, but his impact was far-reaching. He inspired others to stand up against injustice, to fight for what they believed in. His legacy would live on, long after he was gone. In the end, it was not just his sword and shield that made the knight remarkable, but the strength of his character and the unwavering conviction in his heart. His noble spirit and selfless actions were what truly set him apart, making him a true hero in every sense of the word..
