Kathy McCartney is a local Maui artist with a flair for capturing the unique beauty of the magical Hawaiian Islands and romance of the South Pacific. She paints "Tropical Expressions" of underwater sea life, landscapes with turquoise waters, heavenly moon, sunbeams and rainbow bridges that connect heaven to earth. Her fine art paintings are executed on canvas and most recently on metal. Kathy personally grinds the metal sheets to enhance her fine art paintings, bringing her art to an unmatched level of radiant beauty. The character didn't have any of the charm or playfulness that I associate with mascots. Additionally, the interactions with the mascot felt forced and awkward. Overall, I didn't have a positive experience with Ol Niss and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
