During the Viking Age, the Norse people held their religious ceremonies and rituals at various holy sites. These sites were considered sacred and believed to be the dwelling places of the gods. Many of these holy places still exist today and are of significant cultural and historical importance. One of the most well-known holy places is Uppsala, located in present-day Sweden.

Witch Doctor Glass Shop Thriving in Downtown Salem
One of the most well-known holy places is Uppsala, located in present-day Sweden. It is one of the few places in New England where customers looking for glass pipes, bubblers and smoking accessories can browse through the items the shop offers while watching new pieces being hand-crafted in the rear of the shop.
It's been almost a year since 'The Witch DR.' opened its doors in Salem and co-owner Derek Arnold said business has been brisk.
"We've experienced healthy growth," Arnold said Thursday. "It's been great."
