We have some exceptions : love, glove, give, above, oven, cover, have, to live, come, some have short vowel sounds. Why?
Because the scholars didn’t like words ending in -v so added an end ‘e’. But these exceptions have exceptions. There’s a long vowel sound in gave, save, clove, live, live wire, alive.
Come and some were originally spelt cuman and sum (the ‘u’ became an ‘o’ because medieval handwriting was hard to read with u and m together). They eventually changed to the modern spelling.

I had a terrible experience at Mr Magic Car Wash in Pleasant Hills. First of all, the staff was extremely unprofessional and rude. They were not friendly or welcoming at all. Secondly, the quality of the car wash was subpar. My car came out still dirty and with streaks all over. It was as if they barely even touched it. I was highly disappointed with the overall service and will definitely not be returning.

I wouldn't recommend Mr Magic Car Wash in Pleasant Hills. I found their pricing to be on the higher side compared to other car washes in the area. Additionally, the wait time was ridiculously long. I had to wait for over an hour just to get my car cleaned. The whole process felt disorganized and chaotic. On top of that, the cleanliness of my car after the wash was not satisfactory. There were still spots and stains on the windows and the interior was not properly vacuumed. I expected better service for the price I paid.

My experience at Mr Magic Car Wash in Pleasant Hills was a complete nightmare. First of all, the staff was completely unhelpful and seemed disinterested in providing a good service. They were more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to customers. Secondly, the equipment they used on my car was old and outdated. It left scratches on my paint job, and when I brought it up with the staff, they just brushed it off. The lack of professionalism and care for customer satisfaction was evident throughout my visit. I will definitely not be back and would advise others to avoid this car wash.

I was not impressed with Mr Magic Car Wash in Pleasant Hills. The waiting area was dirty and unkempt. There was trash everywhere and it smelled bad. It gave a very negative first impression. The wash itself was mediocre at best. My car looked only slightly cleaner after the wash, and there were still several spots and stains left behind. For the high price they charge, I expected a much better experience. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone.
