Magid Knight Rayearth Umi is one of the main characters in the popular manga and anime series called Magic Knight Rayearth. Umi is a strong and courageous young girl who is chosen to become a Magic Knight along with her two friends, Hikaru and Fuu. At the beginning of the story, Umi is portrayed as a wealthy and elegant girl who attends a prestigious school. However, she quickly proves that she is not just a pretty face when she is summoned to the fantastical world of Cephiro. Umi is armed with a magical sword called the Sea God's Sword, which she can use to fight against evil. Umi's character development throughout the series is focused on her personal growth and finding her inner strength.
