CROSS RIVER, NY — The new mascot for John Jay High School is the Wolves. The Katonah-Lewisboro School District made the announcement Thursday. On the district's website, there was an explanation as to why the first choice — Wolfpack — was eventually rejected in favor of Wolves.

The previous mascot — the Indians — was determined to be controversial and a change was sought.

"Wolves and Wolfpack were overwhelmingly the top suggestions to our selection committee when the community was first surveyed," the statement on the website said. "When the committee later narrowed the choices, Wolfpack was selected for its connotation of teamwork and because there is one school in Yonkers (not a school we compete against) that uses wolves as its mascot."

Reviews for "The Magic of Magic Wok Lebanon: From Beirut to Your Plate"

1. John - 1 star - I had high hopes for Magic Wok Lebanon as I had heard good things about it from friends. However, my experience was far from satisfactory. The food was bland and lacked flavor. The service was also extremely slow, and it took forever for our orders to arrive. Overall, I was very disappointed and will not be returning to Magic Wok Lebanon.
2. Sarah - 2 stars - I was not impressed with Magic Wok Lebanon. The portion sizes were very small for the high prices they charged. Additionally, the quality of the food was mediocre at best. The chicken dish I ordered was dry and lacked any distinct flavors. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also lacking, with a lack of ambiance and uncomfortable seating. I won't be recommending Magic Wok Lebanon to anyone.
3. Mike - 1 star - My experience at Magic Wok Lebanon was a complete disaster. The food was overcooked and tasted like it had been sitting out for a while. The service was nonexistent, with rude and inattentive staff who seemed more interested in chatting amongst themselves than taking care of customers. To top it all off, the restaurant was dirty and poorly maintained. Save your money and go somewhere else for a decent meal.
