I feel sad that my first year of gardening is coming to a close, but I’m also already spinning with ideas for flowers I want to grow next year! I think the garden sketchbook journal will continue to be an important part of my gardening journey. As much as I’ve loved the time spent in nature and arranging blooms, I’ve been equally as inspired artistically as a result. It has been a memorable summer for sure! Thank you for following along.

Nearby, is the Old Dahlia House showstopper a painting of Mark s old house on a barn-sized mural amid dahlias galore, plus a Where s Waldo kind of moment. Speaking of farm stands, when it s time to wander south of Tillamook, fields of dahlia flowers and a barn-sized painting along the Oregon coast may catch your eye and then capture your heart when you stop in and visit Oregon s Dahlia Man.

Garden Sketchbook Journal Late Summer Update

Hi friends! I hope you have enjoyed following along in my Garden Sketchbook Journal this summer! You can visit part 1 and part 2 if you missed those.

This project has been so much fun… just painting for myself without any pressure! It has been deeply inspiring and I know I”ll be recreating some of these paintings at a larger scale or trying them in soft pastel!

There is still so much more I’d love to record, but I thought I’d do an end-of-summer update with the rest of the pages I’ve completed before the garden fades away for the year.

A common view in the garden – my gathering buckets filled with blooms!

I just love amber glass! I pulled these out to start bringing in a little Fal touch to the arrangements. They were so much fun to paint.

I don’t love how these dahlia turned out…I just don’t think the painting does the flower justice, but that’s okay! Part of this project is practice and learning to let go of the need for perfection.

One of my very favorite arrangements! The cosmos seemed to dance and I tried to capture that.

Oh, the butterflies! It’s incredibly magical being in the garden when these beauties are fluttering around.

Reviews for "Say Goodbye to Bacteria and Germs with Magic Lin3n Tea Towels"

1. Emily - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Magic lin3n tea towels. First of all, the color bled when I washed them, staining the rest of my laundry. Secondly, they didn't absorb water very well, so I had to use multiple towels to dry my dishes. They also started fraying after just a couple of uses, which was quite frustrating. Overall, I expected better quality for the price I paid.
2. Ethan - 1 star - I do not recommend the Magic lin3n tea towels at all. They are incredibly thin and flimsy, and they don't even feel like they're made of linen. The stitching on the edges is also poorly done, and I noticed loose threads after just a few washes. They are definitely not durable and they don't hold up well over time. Save your money and look for better quality tea towels elsewhere.
3. Sarah - 2 stars - These Magic lin3n tea towels look nice, but that's about the only positive thing I can say about them. They are not very absorbent and they leave streaks when I try to dry my glassware. The material also feels rough and scratchy, which is not pleasant to use. I've tried washing them multiple times to see if they would soften up, but they still feel the same. I regret purchasing these tea towels and I won't be buying them again.
