"Kor of the Rings: The Witch King" In J.R.R. Tolkien's epic fantasy novel series "The Lord of the Rings," one of the most formidable and feared antagonists is the Witch King of Angmar, also known as the Lord of the Nazgûl. The Witch King plays a prominent role in the story, serving as the chief commander of Sauron's dark forces and leading the fearsome ringwraiths who are bound to the power of the Rings of Power. The Witch King is a mysterious and malevolent figure, shrouded in darkness and wielding immense power.

This is witch doctor Jose of San Juan Y Martinez, Cuba. I met Jose on February 8, 2018, in the house church he attends each Tuesday evening. The following is his story. Parts of this story were given to me directly by him, parts were furnished by others who knew him before and after his conversion, and parts are from a follow-up that I requested from our team in Cuba.

For instance, John Mackay, a white actor, plays the priest, and it is only many scenes in, after characters have interrogated Ruth about her possible unconscious bias, that we understand that the priest is actually Black. In a dark room, in a dark year, her disembodied voice and its magnificent tension leaped straight to my optic nerve, making phantoms flicker inside my eyelids, sonic energy becoming light.

The Witch King is a mysterious and malevolent figure, shrouded in darkness and wielding immense power. He was once a human king, corrupted by Sauron's influence and transformed into a terrifying undead being. As the leader of the Nazgûl, his main objective is to retrieve the One Ring and deliver it to his master, Sauron, who seeks to use its power to dominate Middle-earth.

Police charge self-proclaimed witch doctor with murder following Georgia mother’s disappearance

HOLLYWOOD, FLA. (WSVN) - A murder charge has been filed in the disappearance of a Georgia woman in South Florida.

Hollywood Police charged Shannon Ryan, a self-proclaimed witch doctor, with second-degree murder and tampering with evidence, Tuesday night.

The charges stem from the disappearance of 21-year-old Leila Cavett. Ryan claimed she traveled to South Florida from Alabama to sell her truck to him.

She was last seen in July 2020 with her 2-year-old son at a Hollywood gas station.

The next morning, her son was found wandering a Miramar parking lot by himself.

Shortly after Cavett’s disappearance, Ryan posted a video onto Facebook, where he claimed that he told investigators everything that he knew. However, authorities said otherwise.

According to investigators, Ryan was captured buying bleach and carpet cleaner at stores across the area. They also said he was recorded dragging a large object covered in trash bags to a dumpster at a Hollywood gas station, as well as throwing away bloody towels.

Investigators added Ryan also threw toys into the dumpster.

The 40-year-old has been in jail since August and faces a slew of other charges, including child neglect, lying to authorities and kidnapping. The kidnapping charge, detectives said, stemmed from when Ryan allegedly took Cavett’s son and abandoned him.

Ryan appeared before a judge on Wednesday for a hearing on his new charges.

“The court does find probable cause for murder in the second degree,” Broward Circuit Court Judge Tabitha Blackmon said. “We’ll hold you no bond on that count, also deeming you a flight risk.”

Cavett’s body has not been found. Her family traveled to South Florida last summer to beg for answers on their loved one’s whereabouts.

“We just want to know that you’re OK,” a family member said. “Please just reach out to anyone.”

The investigation into the Georgia mother’s disappearance led federal authorities to a landfill in Broward County to find a lead in the case. However, the search revealed nothing.

Prosecutors said they believe they have enough evidence to imprison Ryan for murder.

The judge also ruled that Ryan will not have any contact with Cavett’s family.

Throughout the narrative, the Witch King and the other ringwraiths relentlessly pursue the ring-bearer, Frodo Baggins, and his companions. Their presence is marked by an eerie aura of dread and despair, striking fear into the hearts of those who encounter them. The Witch King's icy voice and chilling laughter add to his terrifying presence, instilling a sense of hopelessness in his foes. The Witch King's most notable confrontation occurs during the Battle of Pelennor Fields. Riding a winged beast called a Fellbeast, he leads the forces of Mordor against the city of Minas Tirith. It is here that he faces Éowyn, a shieldmaiden of Rohan, who ultimately defeats him in a dramatic and heroic fashion. Éowyn, assumed to be a man by the Witch King, slays him with the help of the hobbit Merry, using a blade specifically made to harm the Witch King. The defeat of the Witch King of Angmar marks a significant turning point in the War of the Ring, as it not only breaks the siege of Minas Tirith but also represents a triumph of good over evil. His demise showcases the resilience and bravery of the characters fighting against Sauron's forces, revealing that even the most powerful and feared enemies can be defeated. In conclusion, the Witch King of Angmar is a central and menacing figure in "The Lord of the Rings" series. His dark presence, relentless pursuit of the One Ring, and eventual defeat at the hands of Éowyn and Merry all contribute to the epic nature of Tolkien's tale. The Witch King's significance lies in his embodiment of evil and his role as a formidable opponent for the forces of good..
