Calendar Sync

Your favorite calendar app on your device can sync with data in your Practical Witch’s Almanac! There are several options for making this happen easily. A great advantage of doing this is so all time zones for events are automatically updated on your device’s app to be precise for your location.

iCalendar, ICS, iCal Formats

The ICS format of the Almanac can be used on almost any device such as iPhone, Apple Computers, Mozilla, Outlook, and hundreds of other calendar apps.

You can copy the link below and paste it into the settings on your app, or better yet just click on the link below and your device will ask you how you wish to open it, such as with Outlook, Calendar, or another compatible program or app.

With Your Google Calendar

The official Google Calendar ID for the Almanac is [email protected] You should be able to click here to quickly add the Almanac data to your computer or device’s Google Calendar App. If that doesn’t work, try this:

  1. On your computer, open Google Calendar.
  2. On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add From URL.
  3. Enter the calendar’s address in the field provided https://calendar.google.com/calendar/b/1?cid=cHJhY3RpY2FsYWxtYW5hY0BnbWFpbC5jb20
  4. Click Add calendar. The calendar will appear on the left side under “Other calendars.”

Changes usually appear instantly across your synced devices, but on rare occasions, it might take up to 12 hours for changes to show in your Google Calendar.

Google Calendar of Pagan Days…

UPDATE 18 April 2018The Google calendar is deleted. Some changes on Google’s end, and some unawareness of those changes on my end, resulted in a guest user of the calendar deleting most of the content and individual entries in order to make more closely adhere to their practice. After some discussion with them (which was generous, kind, and entirely responsible rather than malicious or tinted with argument), I decided to discontinue this calendar at this time.

I’ve made my calendar available through iCal at webcal://p04-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/93f2LWSQqmS4Dj7Ei4Kmak9GWuo4MxqYuzIgVGdT1GGoGhU5eISyV0WDRa2jzQCpFoaOZv-GtCeFE8Yz0BcJ7LOeDe1HHzcTjbVQFOQobFY rather than Google, but I can’t seem to test whether or not it works… because it’s hosted on my account, and therefore my own iCal application can’t connect to it through some sort of failure of circular logic. So if it doesn’t work, please let me know.

Update 23 January 2017: This post is one of my most-visited posts, even eight years later. If you’d like to thank me for creating this perpetual calendar, please consider PayPal’ing me a few bucks, or buy a copy of Poems for the Behenian Stars on Etsy, or through Amazon (cheaper!) my chapbook/guide to the spiritual meanings of brightest stars in the northern sky.

Update 6 April 2017: FESTAE is a set of poems that I wrote organized around the pagan days of this calendar. It’s available through Amazon. THE SUN’S PACES is another collection, organized around the Greco-Roman-Mediterranean deities of the Zodiac’s subdivisions. It’s available through Amazon, as well. THE MANSIONS OF THE MOON is a collection of twenty-eight poems based around the secret Zodiac that rules the Moon’s movements in particular. It’s also available through Amazon.

I’ve been meaning to do this, and a few friends bullied/inspired me into doing it, finally. It’s the list of the various pagan/spiritual days that I tend to notice and celebrate in some fashion when they pass by. Currently, I’ve not added in the poetry associated with each day, but it is a basic guide to the 113 festival days. Hey, any excuse for a party.

Because it’s on Google Calendar, you do have the ability to add this to your calendar there. Because it’s on Google Calendar, you can download it and install it on programs like iCal and the freeware programs like Sunbird/Thunderbird. You can even download it and put it on Microsoft’s program, whatever it’s called. Enjoy.

Pagan Club is starting back up. Join us weekly on Thursdays for discussions on paganism and witchcraft, do some crafting, celebrate holidays, and more!

Pagan Club has been established to give students a chance to explore or learn more about a diverse and eclectic religion that is commonly misunderstood. We want to create a dialogue on campus to inform students about what Paganism is and is not, and to also talk with other pagans in a welcoming community.

Reviews for "Jcpenney Magic Bullet: Harnessing its Power for Weight Loss"

1. Sarah - 1 star - I was really disappointed with the Jcpenney magic bullet. It didn't work as efficiently as I had hoped, and the blades seemed to get dull really quickly. I also found it very difficult to clean, with food getting stuck in hard-to-reach areas. Overall, I felt like the quality of this product was subpar and not worth the price.
2. Mike - 2 stars - The Jcpenney magic bullet was a big letdown for me. I found that it didn't blend ingredients as smoothly as I had anticipated, leaving behind chunks in my smoothies and sauces. The design also felt cheap, with the plastic container and lids feeling flimsy and easily breakable. It was a waste of money and I would not recommend it to others.
3. Emily - 1 star - I regret buying the Jcpenney magic bullet. It was incredibly loud, even for a blender, and the noise was unbearable. The motor also seemed to struggle even with simple tasks, taking a long time to blend ingredients properly. On top of that, the plastic containers started to crack after just a few uses. I feel like I wasted my money and would not purchase another one in the future.
4. Jason - 2 stars - The Jcpenney magic bullet did not live up to the hype for me. Despite following the instructions carefully, I found that it leaked whenever I tried to blend something. The sealing rings were not effective, causing a mess and making it difficult to use. The blending power was also not strong enough, leaving my smoothies with a grainy texture. I would not recommend this product, as there are better options available on the market.
