The Violet Tower Curse: Unexplained Phenomena at a Historic Landmark

By admin

The Curse of the Violet Tower is a mysterious and chilling tale that has been passed down through generations. The story revolves around an ancient tower situated deep within a dense forest. Legend has it that the tower was once home to a powerful sorcerer who possessed unimaginable magical abilities. According to the legend, the sorcerer would use his powers for both good and evil, depending on his mood. One day, he used his magic to create a beautiful garden filled with exquisite flowers, the most prominent of which were the vibrant violet flowers. These flowers were said to possess great power and were considered to be the source of the sorcerer's strength.

Save at the Inn in Chisha Village and loot the corpse in the Flame Champion Hideaway. If you don't get the Pale Gate Rune, reset and try again. I believe this is the rare item that can be obtained from the corpse. It may take you many attempts.

It would be nice if you had a champion rune on a high level character too.

'm not sure if this works, but try bringing a party with a high combined Luck stat. I got the Water Magic ring in the first try by doing this. I wasn't as lucky with the Pale Gate rune, but I didn't really care about getting one.

You just keep trying. As Kuromimi said, it's called a rare item for a reason. It's rare: you aren't meant to literally trip over it.

If you don't feel like saving and reloading all the time, keep looting the corpse as you pass through the FCH. The FCH is a great leveling spot for much of the game so you should spend a lot of time there anyway. Over the course of the whole game, I usually end up with three or four. So keep trying.

Other than the freebie, it's the only place to get them. Just be patient.

Congratulations, but you're still wrong, Killey. Stallion Posts: 209 Joined: Tue Jun 29, 2004 6:07 pm Location: New Zealand

I forget, but i may have gotten one from a semi-boss aswell. At any rate, i tend to find them at the furtherest skeleton in the FCH.

I never used them though. Well I tried them to see the attacks, but didn't use them after that, I didn't like how it limited who could use it to the uber mages that i never use.

Related thought - The strongest attack with the ship, sometimes it does just the cannons in the animation ( Pale Palace equiv ), sometimes the woman on the front of the ship does the Empty World breath blast. what is with that? Does a higher proficiency mean a higher chance of the second part of the animation? I forget whether the damage was different tho.

if you tried what Kuromimi said and it didn't work then.. theres really no way you can get it.. you can try and Gameshark it, but that will kind'a rune the fun.

You should keep trying for the flame chap dead body it will train you and maybe get you strong enough to fight that boss without the rune. or you will find the rune and be happy

the items in the random bags get loaded before you enter the room that includes the bag.. so you need to be loading a save where you didn't get it loaded.

a quicker way than loading from the nearby town is saving in the Hideaway, and once you load, use an Escape Talisman to get to teh beginning

They only sell the Pale Gate Rune in Caleria during the sixth point of view. The best source is the corpse in the Flame Champion's Hideaway.

if u already have a pale gate rune, why do u need another for the water dragon? 1 is plenty, give it to Viki or Estella, or Joker

In my main save I think I have around six Pale Gate runes. I simply went back to the FC Hideaway whenever I wanted to level up and checked the body on the right every time I went back.

Adrenachrome, it's nice to have more than one because of all the characters that can use it (Viki, Viki, Estella, Joker, and Sasarai off the top of my head). The first level spell is pretty useful (that is, if it works) and you won't have to constantly run back to Jeane.

There's two different animations? Granted, I hardly use that spell but I've still never seen a different animation or even seen a woman on the front of the ship. And isn't Pale Palace the spell with the Water Dragon?

Curse if the violet tower

His reign of terror led to immense suffering and despair for the people living in the nearby villages. As a result of his wicked actions, a curse was placed upon the sorcerer and his tower. The curse stated that anyone who entered the tower would be forever trapped, their souls bound to its walls. They would be tormented for eternity, never to find peace or escape the clutches of the sorcerer's dark magic. The curse of the Violet Tower spread fear among the villagers, who believed that the tower was haunted by the tortured souls of those who had succumbed to its enchantment. They deemed it forbidden, and tales of its curse were passed down through the generations, acting as a warning to all who dared to approach. Over time, the tower became a symbol of fear and caution, and the villagers avoided it at all costs. Its presence loomed over the surrounding areas, its eerie beauty only adding to its allure and mystery. It became a legend that intrigued and frightened all who heard it. Today, the Curse of the Violet Tower remains a captivating tale, captivating the imaginations of those who love a good ghost story. While the truth behind the legend may never be known, the story serves as a reminder of the dangers of unchecked power and the consequences of succumbing to one's darkest desires. As the sun sets over the ancient tower, its violet flowers still bloom, whispering the secrets of the curse that continues to haunt it. The legend lives on, forever woven into the fabric of the village's history and the hearts of those who dare to venture near..

Reviews for "The Violet Tower Curse: A Portal to the Otherworldly"

1. Samantha - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Curse of the Violet Tower". The plot was convoluted and confusing, and the characters felt one-dimensional. I couldn't connect with any of them or their motivations. Additionally, the pacing was incredibly slow, making it hard for me to stay engaged. Overall, it was a frustrating read that I wouldn't recommend.
2. Michael - 1 star - "Curse of the Violet Tower" was a complete letdown. The writing style was overly verbose and flowery, making it difficult to follow the story at times. The world-building was also lacking, leaving me with more questions than answers. I found myself skimming through paragraphs of unnecessary descriptions and minor details. It had so much potential, but it fell short in execution.
3. Emily - 2 stars - I had high hopes for "Curse of the Violet Tower", but it just didn't deliver. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural, and the romance subplot was predictable and cliché. The ending left me unsatisfied, as it tied up loose ends too neatly and lacked any real emotional impact. It was a forgettable read that didn't live up to its promising premise.
