The celestial ring is a mining enhancer from the Shooting Stars activity, purchased from Dusuri's Star Shop for 2,000 stardust. Players can charge the ring with stardust, with each one added giving one charge (up to a maximum of 10,000). Uncharging the ring will remove all charges with the remaining stardust returned to the player.

Wearing this ring gives players an invisible +4 boost to Mining regardless of charges; this stacks with both visible and invisible boosts, though visible boosts are capped to level 99. This bonus does not allow the player to receive ores higher than their level range or deal more damage within the Path of Het puzzle room.

When charged, the ring has 1/10 chance of giving an extra resource when mining rocks up to adamantite, with some exceptions, granting experience for both mined resources. If the player has only one inventory slot remaining and the ring's passive effect activates, the player will lose out on both the extra resource and the extra experience. [1] Every time an ore is mined from a suitable rock, a charge will be lost from the ring whether or not a second ore is mined. Mining rocks that do not benefit from the multiplicative effect does not consume charges. This effect stacks with other mining enhancers.

The ring can be combined with an elven signet at a singing bowl, alongside 100 crystal shards and 1,000 stardust, to create the celestial signet, which combines the effects of both. Doing so requires level 70 Smithing and Crafting; if the player does not meet the Smithing and Crafting requirements, they can have Conwenna or Reese sing the crystal for them for an extra 50 crystal shards, for a total of 150.

Higher-level diamond star amulets usually have a greater chance of activating a passive effect compared to lower-level ones. Another factor that influences the chance of getting a passive effect is the luck of the wearer. Luck is a mysterious and intangible attribute that can greatly enhance or diminish the effects of the amulet.

Adventurers with high luck are likely to have a better chance of triggering the passive effect compared to those with lower luck. Additionally, the types of passive effects that can be activated also play a role in the overall chance. Some amulets may have a single passive effect, while others may have multiple. The chances of getting a passive effect can thus be higher if the amulet has multiple effects compared to one with only a single passive effect. The rarity of the passive effect itself can also impact the chances. Some passive effects may be more common and have a higher chance of activating, while others may be extremely rare and have a lower chance. This adds an element of unpredictability and excitement to owning and using a diamond star amulet. In conclusion, the chance of getting a passive effect from a diamond star amulet depends on various factors such as the level of the amulet, the luck of the wearer, the type of passive effect, and its rarity. Owning and using a diamond star amulet not only adds style and flair to one's appearance but also provides the excitement of potential passive effects..

    1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the chance of getting a passive from the diamond star amulet. I spent a lot of time and resources trying to obtain it, only to end up with nothing. It feels like such a waste and a letdown. I wish the developers would increase the odds or at least provide some sort of compensation for the players who have invested so much in this item.
    2. Sarah - 1 star - The chance of getting a passive from the diamond star amulet is absolutely abysmal. I have tried countless times and have yet to get anything useful. It's frustrating and disheartening, especially considering how much effort it takes to obtain this item. I feel like I've wasted so much time and energy for nothing. I would not recommend wasting your resources on this amulet.
    3. Mike - 2 stars - The odds of getting a passive from the diamond star amulet are incredibly low. I've tried my luck numerous times and have gotten nothing but disappointment. It's a real shame because this amulet seems like it could offer some interesting benefits, but the difficulty in obtaining a passive makes it not worth the hassle. I hope the developers consider adjusting the drop rates in the future to make it more rewarding for players.
    4. Emma - 3 stars - While the diamond star amulet has some potential, the chance of obtaining a passive ability is incredibly frustrating. I've spent a lot of time grinding for this item, only to repeatedly end up with no passive. It feels like a waste of time and resources. It would be great if the developers could tweak the drop rates to make it more feasible to acquire a passive and enjoy the benefits this amulet offers. Until then, it's hard to recommend investing in this item.
    5. David - 2 stars - The low chance of getting a passive from the diamond star amulet is disappointing. I've spent a significant amount of effort and resources trying to obtain a useful passive, but without any success. It feels like a game of luck rather than a reward for hard work or skill. I wish the developers would reconsider the drop rates and make it more reasonable for players to obtain a passive from this amulet.
