5 Star 4 Star 3 Star 2 Star 1 Star Hotel bit too far out and high up for us Tracy Ann , 29 May 2023

Just got back this morning from a week at The Magic Rock Gardens.
Transfer bus dropped us off outside Burger King so we had to get all our cases and prams up a near vertical hill!

Other people might say it's fine but to someone like me with severe back issues it was just horrific and I had to get a taxi back every time we went out.

Lovely clean hotel with amazing kind staff but loads of marble slippery steps due to hotel being so high up the hill.

Rooms brilliant with 2 large beds and food in restaurant very varied and delicious! Really good value for money hotel.

Hotel bit too far out and high up for us to return but the staff went above and beyond when one of our mobile phone got taken off a table in reception but unfortunately never got it back which also marred our experience.

Neill Stewart
Stayed in this Hotel 3 times, and loved it.
The Hotel provided our transfers each time and dropped us off at the front of hotel.
Yes the hill is a bit steep, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

Kelvin Richardson
We stayed there beginning of May, transfer coach (Jet2) dropped us off, and picked us up again, at the bus stop about 20 metres from the hotel! The hill is fairly steep, but we managed ok, not so good if you have mobility issues.

We are here now, it's bloody awful, food is shocking, snack bar not to bad. pool and sun beds currently in the shade, pool is freezing so not really used. rooms are OK.

Lifts constantly breaking down trapping people inside.

Place is very clean and some staff are fab!

It's on a cardiac hill which is a killer, god knows how people with limited walking or with prams manage as I dragged my trunk up there nearly on my knees.

We were lucky our transfer dropped us at the hotel but a lot are dropped at the bottom of the hill.

If your British your smoking area is out near the staff service/delivery entrance and that's it.

Plus side beach is bottom of the hill and you have lots of lovely restaurants. Despite the hotel we have loved Benidorm and will be back just not to this hotel.

Jim Henshaw
The hotel us fantastic, Cardiac Hill is the only problem! we loved the hotel though

Laura Ann Healy
We stayed last year, thought the all inclusive was up there with the best

Gaynor Hunter - 8th May
Fantastic hotel. Rooms lovely and food great. Lovely pool with huge screen playing music and pool bar. Lots of slides for kids. Entertainment was in diff parts of hotel in evening catering for Spanish n English. Staff are lovely. There is a hill they call cardiac hill but it was not that bad tbh. Very close to beach
Great location. Hotel interior lovely like caves
Lots of nooks n crannies to explore.
Hot tub area down beside pool and roof terrace is stunning with hot tubs etc

Donna Cassidy
Brilliant hotel worth the hill.

Vicky Williams
Been to rock Gardens fab hotel worth the walk up the hill

Caravan Salvage
Yes its up a very steep hill but fantastic hotel, there are plenty of spots in the shade round pool but all depends time of year your going the roof terrace has sun all day.

Bbillyy Young
The hill is not that bad, great location, food ,etc, but no balcony and pools in shade from about 3 '0' clock which was a bit of a downer.

Lisa Parker
Steep hill with a wheelchair not fun
No balcony lack of sunshine never again for our family.

Ronnie Scott
The hill, no balconies, and lack of sun around the pools, puts me off. Not for you if you have walking difficulties.

Tracey Fountain
Absolutely the worst place at top of steep hill which coaches do not like driving up too. worst food and nasty dated place. Great for kids who love to swim and use slides all day but if you are a couple do a wide birth on this

Christopher Martin
We didn’t think the hill was particularly steep. And the ‘lack of sun’ in the pool area is rather exaggerated. We enjoyed the hotel.

Reviews for "The Magic Hobby Center Phenomenon: What Sets Champions Apart"

- Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with my experience at Champions of Magic Hobby Center. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and it felt like they didn't want to assist me at all. The store was also quite disorganized, with products scattered everywhere and no clear organization. Overall, I would not recommend this place to any magic hobby enthusiasts.
- Michael - 1 star - As someone who enjoys collecting magic cards, I was excited to visit Champions of Magic Hobby Center. However, my excitement quickly turned into frustration. The selection was extremely limited, and there were many popular cards that they did not have in stock. The prices were also much higher than other stores in the area. I was very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning.
- Jessica - 2 stars - I had high hopes for this hobby center, but unfortunately, I was let down. The staff seemed uninterested in helping customers and were not knowledgeable about the products they were selling. The lack of organization made it difficult to find what I was looking for, and the prices were higher than other stores in the area. Overall, I would not recommend Champions of Magic Hobby Center as there are much better options available.
