The Witch’s Wheel of the Year is my invitation to call you back to the earth, to call you home to yourself, to gather you in an intimate circle and celebrate the turning of the seasons.
The Celtic people of my land celebrated the earth’s cycles with eight festivals to honour our Earth Mother, eight points through the year where they were called to plow, sow, harvest and rest. The turning of the Wheel represents the continuing birth, death and rebirth of nature.
The Witch's Wheel of The Year follows the old calendar and my intention is to help women align themselves to the way our ancestors lived with the land and learn the ancient ways in a modern, meaningful way. I want women to reconnect with the seasons, the earth, with themselves and discover a beautiful way of living with their wild hearts.
We will gather for the eight Sabbats and in a safe and most loving space we will allow the earth's natural rhythms take us on a journey through meditation & movement, nature & nurture, ceremony & creativity, sharing & teaching.

The author failed to capture the essence and intrigue of this dark period in history. I found myself skimming through the pages, barely engaged in the story. Overall, I would not recommend this book to those looking for a comprehensive and well-researched account of the Salem Witch Trials.
2. Mark - 1 star - This book on the Salem Witch Trials was a complete letdown. The author seemed more interested in speculation and sensationalism rather than providing an accurate representation of the events that occurred during that time.
