Once I tried to be more objective I realized that what I wanted to know was much more about lore, about how does the lycanthropy affect the person. I am also currently running CoS and the party will be facing were-creatures soon-ish, so I would also like to know how to handle this situation should one of the party end up cursed (although I have no paladin in my case, but as this answer to a different question points out, that doesn't matter for lycanthropy curses anyway). \$\endgroup\$
