Spook Up Your Windows with Tapping Witch Crafts

By admin

When it comes to window decorations, tapping into the witch theme can be a creative and fun way to add some spookiness to your home. Whether it's for Halloween or just for a whimsical touch, witch-themed window decorations can create a magical and enchanting atmosphere. One of the most iconic images associated with witches is their pointed hats. You can incorporate this element into your window decorations by placing cut-out witch hats on your windows using tape or suction cups. These hats can be made from black construction paper or felt and can be adorned with stars or other enchanting details. Another idea is to create a witch silhouette on your windows.

And, while these window props are scary, once you know what it is, you can't help but laugh, and then want to catch a friend or family member off guard with them to see their frightened reaction. :-)

Last night during movie night, I took the dogs out one last time and hung the Tapping Peeper on one of our kitchen windows.

5 and 8 and thought this was a fun Halloween decoration, so to see others thinking it was offensive and wanting it pulled from the store shelves a couple years back just makes me laugh. Another idea is to create a witch silhouette on your windows. You can do this by using black contact paper or by drawing the silhouette with a black paint marker or window paint. This silhouette can include a witch riding a broomstick or stirring a cauldron, creating a spooky and captivating scene.

With most kids back to school, now is the time many people start thinking about Halloween. My girls started thinking about Halloween back early August thanks to stores putting out their Halloween candy and decor early. Now my girls are fast at work creating their own costumes. Usually they go costume shopping at stores, but this year they want to make their own costumes. They are going to be their favorite Ty Beanie Babies toy. I can't wait to see how their costumes come out.

In addition to working on their own costumes, my girls have already started Halloween crafting and making decorations to hang up all over the house. They keep asking for their cobwebs and spiders to put up all over the house, and for Daddy to pull out their inflatable Halloween yard decorations, but I am still trying to enjoy the last few days of summer before reality of the cold crisp weather of fall sets in, and then with a blink of an eye the snow will start falling, and we will all be wishing for summer again.

While I have been reluctant to pull out all the Halloween decorations, I did catch the girls off guard last night with a fun and scary Halloween decoration. Scary Peeper Tapping Peeper.

Have you heard about these decorations? I remember seeing this and other peeping window props from Scary Peeper at Home Depot last year, but was reminded about it last month when I was watching an online video of The Jonathan Ross Show which airs in the UK . He was mentioning Scary Peeper and how these fun Halloween props were pulled from stores because one lady found them offensive.

He is right. these continue to sell like hot cakes, so don't be left in the dark without a Scary Peeper Tapping Peeper or Witch this Halloween.

I had to laugh when I heard this as I have seen so many other products in stores that are offensive and shouldn't be on shelves. But, to think that these window props from Scary Peeper was offensive is a joke as they fall under Halloween decorations, and these things are supposed to be fun or scary.

There are two settings to these peeping window props -- either activated by a sensor, or can be set to tap every 8-10 seconds. I set it for the every 8-10 seconds setting, and came inside to sit back on the couch with my family to finish up a movie.

The girls started to hear the tapping and wondered what it was. I quickly grabbed my camera and filmed this.

Oh, how I wish you were here to see the girls. My oldest turned white in shock as she ran down the hall to safety. Then, they slowly crept out of the room, when I told them it was just a decoration. And, when they saw the Tapping Peeper up close in the light, they started laughing, and thought this was the coolest thing ever. My girls are 6.5 and 8 and thought this was a fun Halloween decoration, so to see others thinking it was offensive and wanting it pulled from the store shelves a couple years back just makes me laugh. But, I am happy to report that Scary Peeper Peeping Window Props are back in stores, with even more of a selection for Halloween (and be on the lookout this Christmas for a Peeping Elf -- I can't wait to get and put up for the girls, and save myself in having to move an elf around the house every night)

To enhance the witchy vibe, you can also hang a string of witch-themed paper or fabric garlands across your windows. These garlands can feature witches on broomsticks, black cats, or other mystical elements. You can even add some fairy lights to make the decorations more magical. If you want to take your witch window decorations to the next level, consider incorporating some motion. You can attach small battery-operated fans to your windowsill to create the illusion of witches flying around. Another option is to hang lightweight witch decorations, such as plush toys or paper cut-outs, from strings and attach them to hooks on the top of your window frame. This will give the impression that the witches are hovering in mid-air, adding an extra element of enchantment. Remember to switch up your window decorations depending on the season or holiday. For Halloween, you can add spiders, pumpkins, or other creepy-crawlies to your witch-themed displays. For the winter holidays, you can incorporate elements such as snowflakes or twinkling stars to create a festive and whimsical atmosphere. In conclusion, tapping into the witch theme for window decorations can be a fun and creative way to add some enchantment to your home. Whether you choose to incorporate witch hats, silhouettes, garlands, or motion, these decorations will surely captivate and delight all who pass by your windows. So let your inner witch fly free and let the magic come alive with these witchy window decorations..

Reviews for "3 Easy Steps to Creating Stunning Tapping Witch Window Decorations"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the "Tapping Witch Window Decoration". The motion sensor was extremely sensitive, so it would start tapping and making noise every time a car drove by or a gust of wind blew. This became annoying very quickly, especially when trying to sleep at night. Additionally, the sound that the tapping made was not spooky or eerie at all. It sounded more like a child knocking on a door, which was not the effect I was going for. Overall, this decoration was a letdown and did not live up to my expectations.
2. Sarah - 1 star - I absolutely hated the "Tapping Witch Window Decoration". First of all, the installation process was a nightmare. The suction cups provided were flimsy and kept falling off the window, making it impossible to secure the decoration properly. Secondly, the tapping mechanism stopped working after just a couple of days. It was such a waste of money for something that didn't even last through the spooky season. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
3. David - 2 stars - The "Tapping Witch Window Decoration" was a complete disappointment. I was expecting a realistic and creepy effect, but it fell short. The tapping sound was barely audible, even when I turned up the volume to the maximum. The motion sensor was also unreliable, often failing to detect movement and failing to activate the tapping. It was frustrating and not worth the money. I regret my purchase and would not recommend this decoration.
