This suit is focused on a young Lu Yinian. She heads out early in the morning every day to work and fish for her father, who is a patient. Yinian starts traveling on the river, and the current takes her to a shore she has never seen, covered in birds and butterflies. A thunderstorm suddenly begins, scaring her, and she's about to find somewhere to hide when she sees an injured blue magpie. She hears it crying in the rain, and after the storm stops, she takes it home. One day, Yinian comes home from fishing and finds a boy healing her father. She realizes the boy is the magpie she saved, and it's time for him to leave.

In the recolor, Yinian is about to graduate. Every time she comes back to the inn, there's something new waiting for her, and she wants to find out who leaves the gifts. Hiding behind a door, Yinian finds out that it's the blue magpie. It sits on her pole as she fishes, twitters while she cooks dinner, and even waits for her on a branch while she studies. The day Yinian graduates, many magpies come to the school to celebrate. Meanwhile, at the Moon Inn, business is booming, yet Yinian declines every offer of marriage. Finally, the blue magpie twitters and flies into the forest, leaving just a feather behind.

1. John Smith - 1/5 stars - I was really excited to play Shantae and the Pirates Curse on my 3DS, but I was extremely disappointed with what I got. The gameplay felt repetitive and lacked any real depth. The graphics were also subpar, with a lot of pixelation and blurry visuals. The story was uninteresting and didn't engage me at all. Overall, I found the game to be a major letdown and not worth the price.
2. Sarah Johnson - 2/5 stars - I had high hopes for Shantae and the Pirates Curse on the 3DS, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The controls felt clunky and unresponsive, making the platforming sections frustrating to navigate. The difficulty level was also unbalanced, with some areas being way too easy and others almost impossible to beat. The lack of a compelling story or memorable characters made me lose interest quickly. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone looking for a satisfying gaming experience.
3. David Wilson - 2/5 stars - Shantae and the Pirates Curse for the 3DS was a disappointment for me. While I enjoyed the previous entries in the series, this one felt rushed and lacking in polish. The level design felt uninspired, and the overall progression was too linear. The soundtrack, which is usually a highlight in the Shantae games, was forgettable and didn't add much to the experience. I found myself losing interest quickly and ultimately, it felt like a missed opportunity for the franchise.
