1. Susan - 2 stars - I was really underwhelmed by "Rune Xarver Apprentice." The plot was confusing and hard to follow, with too many unnecessary subplots that distracted from the main storyline. Additionally, the characters were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it hard to connect with them or care about their fates. Overall, I found the book to be slow-paced and lacking in excitement. I was hoping for a thrilling fantasy adventure, but sadly, it fell short of my expectations.
2. Michael - 1 star - I could not get into "Rune Xarver Apprentice" at all. The writing was sloppy, filled with grammatical errors and awkward phrasing. The dialogue felt forced and unrealistic, making it hard to believe in the characters and their interactions. The pacing was inconsistent, with long stretches of dull exposition followed by hurried and confusing action scenes. The main character, Rune, lacked development and remained a shallow and unrelatable protagonist throughout. The plot twists and turns felt contrived and forced, leaving me unsatisfied with the overall story. I wanted to enjoy this book, but unfortunately, it left me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated.
