The oil slick cards are a new insert featured in the Magic: The Gathering world. It’ll be interesting to see if this feature is carried forward into the March Of The Machines expansion later this year, as it closes out the Phyrexian storyline. Unlike past foils, these ones have a slightly raised texture to them, along with strong black ink artwork.

The mythics pulled from this box were Legendary Planeswalker Jace, The Perfected Mind and Tyrranax Rex, an 8 8 Phyrexian Dinosaur with trample that cannot be countered. It ll be interesting to see if this feature is carried forward into the March Of The Machines expansion later this year, as it closes out the Phyrexian storyline.

Unboxing The MTG: Phyrexia: All Will Be One Bundle: Compleat Edition

When Magic: The Gathering revealed some of the details of the new Phyrexia: All Will Be One expansion, we weren’t totally prepared for how awesome this expansion would be. The new mechanics, Planeswalkers, and dual lands have been exciting to play with, and now the final piece of the Phyrexia expansion is hitting shelves – the Phyrexia: All Will Be One Bundle: Compleat Edition. Here’s what you will find in the box:

  • 1 Special Phyrexia: All Will Be One Foil Card Box
  • 20 Traditional Foil Phyrexianized Basic Lands
  • 20 Traditional Foil Panorama Full-Art Basic Lands
  • 12 twelve-card Phyrexia All Will Be One Set Boosters
  • 1 Phyrexian Language Traditional Foil Rare Phyrexian Arena Card
  • 2 Mythic Oil Slick Raised Foils
  • 10 Oil Slick Raised Foil Lands

Compleat Edition Bundle

When you first tear the pull tab and slide out the box, you’ll find a wonderful Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines art poster. This black-and-white piece of mastery features art from Junji Ito on one side and Pedro Potier on the other. This serves no real purpose save for decorative, but that’s a good enough purpose with this level of artistry.

Speaking of Elesh Norn, there are 15 different Elesh Norn cards, none of which was included in this bundle sent by Wizards of the Coast, but all of which need to find their way into my collection:

  • Normal Non-Foil
  • Traditional Foil
  • Borderless Ichor Showcase Non-Foil
  • Borderless Concept Praetor Non-Foil
  • Phyrexian Language Non-Foil
  • Borderless Manga Non-Foil
  • Borderless Ichor Showcase Foil
  • Step-And-Compleat Borderless Ichor Foil
  • Phyrexian Language Foil
  • Borderless Concept Praetor Foil
  • Step-And-Compleat Concept Praetor Foil
  • Step-And-Compleat Phyrexian Language Foil
  • Borderless Manga Foil
  • Step-And-Compleat Borderless Manga Foil
  • Borderless Oil Slick Foil

What was included though, were 20 full-art basic lands and 20 Phyrexianized Lands, all foil wrapped. We saw these cards during the Phyrexia reveal. We also saw the oil slick foils, but the Compleat Bundle is the only way to get these oil slick foils save for the secondary market.

There’s 10 oil slick lands and two mythic rares in each box. The mythics pulled from this box were Legendary Planeswalker Jace, The Perfected Mind and Tyrranax Rex, an 8/8 Phyrexian Dinosaur with trample that cannot be countered. I don’t play with Planeswalker decks, but Tyrranax Rex quickly found its way into a green/black creature deck.

Oil Slick lands and mythic rares

It’ll be interesting to see if this feature is carried forward into the March Of The Machines expansion later this year, as it closes out the Phyrexian storyline. Unlike past foils, these ones have a slightly raised texture to them, along with strong black ink artwork.

The full list of cards that received the oil slick treatment looks like this:

  • Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines (#345) (Mythic)
  • Mondrak, Glory Dominus (#346) (Mythic)
  • Phyrexian Vindicator (#347) (Mythic)
  • Ichormoon Gauntlet (#348) (Mythic)
  • Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus (#349) (Mythic)
  • Drivnod, Carnage Dominus (#350) (Mythic)
  • Phyrexian Obliterator (#351) (Mythic)
  • All Will Be One (#352) (Mythic)
  • Capricious Hellraiser (#353) (Mythic)
  • Solphim, Mayhem Dominus (#354) (Mythic)
  • Tyrranax Rex (#355) (Mythic)
  • Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus (#356) (Mythic)
  • Atraxa, Grand Unifier (#357) (Mythic)
  • Staff of Compleation (#358) (Mythic)
  • Sword of Forge and Frontier (#359) (Mythic)
  • Jace, the Perfected Mind (#360) (Mythic)
  • Vraska, Betrayal's Sting (#361) (Mythic)
  • Nissa, Ascended Animist (#362) (Mythic)
  • Lukka, Bound to Ruin (#363) (Mythic)
  • Nahiri, the Unforgiving (#364) (Mythic)
  • Plains (#365) (Common)
  • Island (#366) (Common)
  • Swamp (#367) (Common)
  • Mountain (#368) (Common)
  • Forest (#369) (Common)

If you are into the secondary market, some of the oil slick foils are sure to be worth some money, which should offset the price of the bundle itself. If you are into collecting, it might be cheaper to just buy a bunch of bundles rather than each mythic oil slick individually.

This is one of the better bundles MTG has released in recent years. The art in the Phyrexia expansion is some of the most dynamic, horrific, and detailed in years. The bundle brings all that art to compleation, being the final piece of the expansion to be released.

Reviews for "Pure Magic Car Wash in Maryville: Elevate Your Car Washing Routine"

1. John Doe - 1 star
I had a really bad experience at Pure Magic Car Wash in Maryville. First of all, the customer service was terrible. The employees had a terrible attitude and seemed disinterested in helping me. Secondly, the car wash itself did a terrible job at cleaning my car. There were still dirt and grime on the windows and the wheels were hardly touched. Overall, I was highly disappointed with my visit and will not be returning.
2. Jane Smith - 2 stars
I recently went to Pure Magic Car Wash in Maryville and was not impressed. Although the employees were friendly, the service was subpar. The car wash did not fully remove all the dirt and stains from my car, and there were still visible marks on the windows. Additionally, the automated system seemed faulty as it missed certain areas of the vehicle. I expected a much better clean for the price I paid. I would not recommend this car wash to others.
3. Robert Johnson - 2 stars
I had a less than satisfactory experience at Pure Magic Car Wash in Maryville. The wash itself was average at best, leaving streaks and spots on my car. The vacuum stations were also not well-maintained as they were full of debris and did not provide adequate suction power. The price was not worth the quality of service provided. I will be looking for other options for my car wash needs in the future.
