Cutting-Edge Charging: The Latest Wireless Options for Magic Mouse Users

By admin

One of the most convenient ways to use a mouse with a computer is through a wireless connection. It eliminates the need for messy cables and provides more freedom to move around. However, one downside is having to constantly replace or recharge batteries. Thankfully, there are now various ways to power up a magic mouse without the hassle of cables. One option is to use rechargeable batteries specifically designed for wireless devices. These batteries can be easily recharged using a charging station or even a USB cable connected to a computer.

No lighting interface. My old mouse used batteries.

Maybe you re right that it s usually not frustrating, but I was trying to use this mouse at my office once and it wasn t charged, and it seemed pointless to wait before using it. The Anywhere 2S is the same, and for all that I preferred the VX Nano overall, not having to hunt for a pair of emergency battery when I forget forgot to recharge the 2S is extremely useful.

Magic Mouse Won't Charge.

Hey All! And apologies if this question was posted earlier but I didn`t see any post "specific" to my problem with this mouse. It won`t take a charge! There is no indication when you plug it into any computer usb port that it is in fact "charging". Now I`ve only ever left it plugged in for a few hours but you would think it`d be good to go. like your phone? Like I said there is no blinking or lit up light . indicating its in charge mode. Now I did see other post saying they had trouble with mail and the magic mouse and I DO have mail running in the backround. but. does anyone else have or had this issue? Do I need to go to a "corded" mouse?
I also have a Kaspersky program running in the back round if that is significant. Frustrating!

Hello and welcome.

-Which model Mac?
-Which version of OS X/macOS?
-Are you connecting it to your Mac or a power adapter brick to charge the Magic Mouse?

Mail and Kaspersky shouldn't affect charging the Magic Mouse at all.

Thanks for the kind welcome Cory!
Recently purchased this iMac from Apple.(macOS High Sierra vr.10.13.4 ) Safari vr.11.1
I'm connecting to this Mac and have tried connecting to my older iMac while its up and running for hours at a time.
I plug into a USB port. and while computer is on and/or sliding into sleep mode I plug into the magic mouse2 with the switch in the "on"position let it go.I`ve let charge for up to 6 hours. With new Mac shut down. I`ll put the Magic Mouse 2 here in position to get online. I`ll turn on computer and hope ,while its initializing, recognizes the mouse and all is good. but I get the message "the mouse and the keyboard" aren't connected. Then. if I bring my battery operated apple mouse in to the area. turn it on. the computer recognizes it and everything is fine.Keyboard included. So . even though it would be critical if this was the only computer I owned. I can still use the new iMac with the old apple mouse. I've tried charging that magic mouse2 numerous times. All suggestions welcome.
Thanks in Advance. Francis

I didn't follow your whole story, but FWIW: You do know that System Preferences > mouse does show you the "Mouse battery level", don't you?

So if I get one of those hubs, will it fix my problem?

These pads use induction technology to transfer power to the mouse without any physical connection. Simply place the magic mouse on the charging pad, and it will start charging automatically. This is a convenient solution for those who want to eliminate the need for cables altogether. Additionally, some newer models of magic mice come with built-in rechargeable batteries. These mice can be charged using a Lightning cable, similar to how an iPhone or iPad is charged. This is a great option for those who prefer a sleek and minimalist setup, as it eliminates the need for extra charging accessories. In conclusion, there are several ways to power up a magic mouse without the hassle of cables. Rechargeable batteries, wireless charging pads, and built-in rechargeable batteries are all convenient options that provide a cable-free experience. Whether you prefer to use reusable batteries or opt for a more integrated solution, there is a method available to suit your needs and preferences..

Reviews for "Cut the Cord: The Benefits of Wireless Charging for Magic Mouse"

I was really excited to try out this wireless charging product for my magic mouse, but I ended up being completely disappointed. First of all, the charging pad was extremely finicky and I had to position the mouse just right to get it to charge. Even then, it would often disconnect and stop charging randomly. Secondly, the charging speed was incredibly slow compared to just plugging in the mouse with a cable. I often found myself waiting around for my mouse to charge when I could have been using it instead. Overall, this product was not worth the hassle or the money.

While the concept of a wireless charging solution for the magic mouse is great, this particular product fell short of my expectations. The charging pad itself is quite bulky and took up a lot of space on my desk, which was annoying. Additionally, the pad emitted a high-pitched noise when in use, which was very distracting and made it difficult to concentrate. The charging speed was also slower than I anticipated, making it inconvenient when I needed to quickly charge my mouse. Unfortunately, I will be returning this product and sticking to using a traditional charging cable for now.
