Harnessing the Power of the Magical Fowl Mount in Battle

By admin

Magical fowl mounts are a fascinating aspect of fantasy literature and folklore. These mounts not only capture our imagination but also serve as important means of transportation in fantastical worlds. With their ability to fly, magical fowl mounts enable characters to traverse vast distances quickly and effortlessly, making them invaluable assets in many epic quests and adventures. One of the most iconic magical fowl mounts is the majestic phoenix. Renowned for its fiery plumage and ability to be reborn from its own ashes, the phoenix epitomizes power and resilience. Riding a phoenix allows characters to soar through the skies, creating a breathtaking spectacle that often strikes awe into the hearts of onlookers.

Moreover, the phoenix's healing and purifying abilities make it an ideal choice for quests where restoration and purification are necessary. Another popular magical fowl mount is the mighty griffin.

Magic Pot

My characters are reasonably strong (Level 77-79 all of them) and they do no damage at all. Not with brute force or with magic.

I was able to set up gambits to kill the Hellwyrm without ever even have a single character die. But this Magic Pot, what the hell is the secret? Am I missing something? I can't seem to dispel its magic. and just am out of ideas. I am guessing I need something special.

You have to feed it an elixir then steal it back and then you'll be able to damage it.

Yup Just Toss An Elixir / Megalixir At The Magic Pot Then You'll Be Able To Attack It.. But Don't Forget To Steal The Item Back From It Before The Fight's Over..

How do you throw elixirs at it? when I go to the items menu, the only thing I can do is use them for my characters.

When you want to use stuff on enemies or allies or whoever you want, press R2 or L2 i think and it switches between whoever you wanna use it on.

Yeah, I have just tried the same thing and throwing an elixir at it doesnt do a thing, and you still cant kill it and on top of that, you cant steal it back (I tried several times before I died ) So. has anybody actually beaten this thing or is this all hearsay? I have literally tried everything to beat this. Hmmmm. has anybody tried to cast 'reverse' on it and then feed it an elixir?

Yes people have given it Elixers and beaten it, may take a bit of patience to get it back, but it's possible.

ok, but how? I have just given it an elixir and then try to hit it with physical and magic attacks and the hit factor is still '0' doing absolutely NO damage, and then he flares me to death

all you have to do is take your gambits off and walk up to it,(it will not attack until you do)if you walk close enough it will ask for an elixir you give it one (very important not to hit it until after you give it the elixir) the magicpot will jump around happy then you can hit it and kill it make sure to get your elixir back though.

Trust me . Magic pots not worth the Elixir. Best it gives is 100 AP (I think).

I just ignore it and go with my own task.

The thing about the Magic Pot is that weapons that are defense ignoring DONT WORK. The only weapons that damage Magic Pot are Guns & Measures. Also, the thing does ALOT of damage per hit, especially with magic. I was fighting the one in Penumbra, after where i fought Pheonix. Sooo. I equipped Balthier with Fomalhaut, Penelo with Euclids Sextant(i only had 2 defense ignoring weapons) and then i would cast decoy on the third party member with the weapon that can't damage the Pot. That way, the Pot would go after the useless 3rd party member while the defense ignore-ers would fight. I found it VERY helpful to equip Aegis Shields on the third party member, so they might last longer against the Pots strong magic. If nearly everyone died, I would run back into the place where i fought Pheonix and heal up! The Pot WONT, i repeat WILL NOT heal up the damage that you did before you ran back into the Pheonix room. Keep doin this until the Pot is dead!
Happy hunting

On the twenty-ninth floor, the hidden staircase is right in the middle. On the top of the Phoenix Tower, a touching (and interactive) cutscene awaits you. The choices you make for Lenna's past are irrelevant for the eventual outcome, so I'll just let you get on with it.
