Once upon a time, there was a magical bed frame. This bed frame had been passed down from generation to generation in a small village. It was said that anyone who slept on this bed frame would have their wildest dreams come true. The bed frame itself was a work of art. It was made from a rare kind of wood that had a shimmering quality to it. Carved into the wood were intricate patterns and symbols, representing the dreams and desires of those who had slept on it before.
Holiday Magic is not around for long, though, with just 16 select dates between Dec. 1 and 23. (That means buy your tix asap.)
The Salvation Army Toy Drive Help those in need this season, by donating new, unwrapped toys for all ages, every day of Holiday Magic, just inside the entry. Back during the first pandemic holiday season, the Fair s creative minds came up with a drive-through winter light show to entertain us when there was basically nothing else to do.

Legend had it that the bed frame was created by a mystical sorcerer who possessed incredible powers. He wanted to give people a way to make their dreams a reality, so he crafted this extraordinary piece of furniture.
Holiday Magic Returns to the Washington State Fair
In less than two weeks the Holiday Magic with the festive walk-thru holiday experience at the Washington State Fair will begin! This event began in 2020, as a safe innovative way to bring cheer. Each year since they keep making the event bigger, better and brighter! More light displays, interactive exhibits, festive food and drink and more! See the Light Tunnels or cozy up at the Yeti Bar & Fire Pit (21+). Whether age two or 92, fun and wonder await!
The Holiday Magic runs Dec. 1-4, 8-11, 15-18 & 20-23, from 4:30 – 9:30 p.m. (last entry at 8:30 p.m.)
There are new highlights and new delights this year that include…
•Ride for free! Hop on Santa’s Express Train or the Sugar Plum Merry-Go-Round (sponsored by Pape Machinery). Both rides are included with admission.
•Glice® Synthetic Ice Rink (presented by Coca-Cola) – Take a spin around The Glice® Synthetic Ice Rink, an ice-like rink and listen to your favorite holiday tunes! Available as an add-on and includes skate rentals.
•The Manger (sponsored by Walrath Landscape Supply) – Come behold a cast of cuddly critters in this live-animal nativity under the stars.
•Winter Fun (presented by Summer House) – New this year! This all ages, festive area will offer free games and activities including mini golf, corn hole, Giant Jenga and more!
•All I Want for Christmas Market – Check off your holiday shopping list. Shop a collection of vendors and artisans with a variety of treasures. Find a unique gift for that someone special that you won’t find in stores.
•Arctic Adventure – Laser lights and special effects fill the Arctic Adventure zone for an amazing show of lights and holiday tunes for the whole family. The hour-long show will play continuously each night, so you can enjoy a full show or catch just a few minutes between other stops during your Holiday Magic visit.
•Santa’s Village – Ever wonder how the big guy lives? Here’s your chance to wander and experience the many delights of Santa’s Village. Plus, kids get a free mini stocking to fill with surprises along the way (Mrs.’ Claus’ Kitchen sponsored by Darigold)!
•Joy Experience – Stroll through holidays celebration different cultures from around the world and the Hometown Holiday Forest.
•Wonder Experience – Scenes from holiday movies and winter backdrops create picture perfect moments.

Tickets are now available, with early bird deals through Nov. 28, 2022. Tickets are valid for any event day. Tickets will also be sold onsite.
Note: Opening day only, Dec. 1, combo tickets are available for Holiday Magic and A Victorian Country Christmas, also happening on the fairgrounds (Dec. 1-4).
The main parking and entry for Holiday Magic is in the Green Lot and Green Gate on the west side of the grounds, off Fairview Drive. Additional parking and entry will be available all operating hours of the event, in the Blue Lot and at the Blue Gate. Parking is FREE.

Despite the bed frame's magical powers, it was never used for selfish or harmful purposes. The villagers believed that the true magic lay in using it to bring about positive change in their own lives and the lives of others. Over the years, the bed frame continued to fulfill the dreams of those who slept on it. People experienced incredible transformations, achieved their goals, and found paths they never thought possible. The magic of the bed frame became a symbol of hope and inspiration for the village. It reminded people that dreams do come true if one believes in them and takes action. It taught them that true magic lies within themselves, and that external objects are merely tools to help unlock that inner power. To this day, the magical bed frame remains a cherished artifact in the village. It serves as a reminder of the power of dreams and the infinite possibilities that lie within each and every one of us..

The supposed magical features were nothing more than gimmicks that didn't add any real value. The bed frame was flimsy and poorly constructed, making it squeak and wobble with even the slightest movement. Furthermore, the so-called magical functions were unreliable and glitchy. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this product and would not recommend it to anyone.
