Summon a spellbinding spell

This issue is bothering me for years now. Why are Spellbinding Circle and other permanent cards still on the field, when the target is used for tribute summon. Is the effect of the trap still effectiv when I special summon the target from the graveyard back to the field?

According to the rules, it is not a bug or an issue.

However, it IS a stupid side-effect of how the card game engine cleans up after itself. I like to think of it as more of an oversight by Konami or whoever created the initial card game back in 1999.

It is not the same as being destroyed. It's also to limit you from spamming call of the haunteds and synchro/xyz/link/fusion/advance summon without any disadvantage to you.

In the past it may not have been a huge issue, but now the pendulum zones are in the Spell and Trap Card Zones as well, shouldn't they fix the behaviour of those cards?

No, there is nothing to fix, this is a game mechanic. Your card is not "Destroyed" therefore it remains on field and you must get rid of it through another method like trap eater, mst, twin twisters, dicephoon, breaker, etc.

If you tried to remove it from the field in the real physical card game in a tournament, you'd be stopped by everyone too. It's not just card game engine, it's a hard and fast rule.

You're right the card says when the card is destroyed. And I didn't express myself very clear. With "fix it" I meant changing the card text to fit new game field with the pendulum sharing the spell and trap zones, and even more when this card will come to speed duels or the upcoming rush duels, where you have only 3 spell and trap zones. The writing style was also very basic, with a lack of descriptive language or any sort of literary flair. Overall, I found the book to be quite dull and unmemorable."
2. Sarah - 1/5 stars - "I was extremely bored reading 'Leioa the Perfect Witch'. The plot was predictable and unoriginal, and the protagonist was a typical Mary Sue character. The dialogue was stilted and unnatural, making it hard to connect with any of the characters. I ultimately gave up halfway through as I couldn't bring myself to finish such a lackluster book."
3. Megan - 2/5 stars - "I was really hoping to enjoy 'Leioa the Perfect Witch', but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The pacing was slow, and the world-building was weak. The story lacked the magic and excitement that I was looking for in a fantasy novel. While the premise had potential, the execution left much to be desired."
