Recently I've started reading this manga called The Wrong Way to use Healing Magic, and Isekai story about. wait! Wait! Come back! It's not what you think, honest!

The manga is an isekai story that has three regular high schoolers transported to another world. We have Suzane Inugame, the cool and beautiful student council president, her vice president Kazuki Ryuusen, and Ken Usato, a guy that just happened to be walking with them when they were summoned to another world. They have been asked by the King to help defeat the Demon Lord, who has nearly taken over their kingdom in a recent battle and was only held back barely. They agree, though Inugame is way more into it then the other two are.

So, of course, they get tested for their magic aptitude. Kazuki is able to use the rare Light magic, while Inugame gets Lightning magic, and again, is all in for that. As for Usato, as it turns out, he has an aptitude for healing magic. This turns out to be a problem, but not in the way you might think. The kingdom actually doesn't look down on healing magic or healers, as they were responsible for actually keeping their casualties from getting too high. No, the reason they panic is because of the leader of the Rescue Squad, a woman named Rose, who wouldn't look out of placed running a yakuza gang, along with her subordinates in the squad, who also look like they would belong in the gang. They try to hide Usato out of fear for his own safety. But alas, Rose finds out about him and happily takes him into her training regime. Which, according to others who tried to take part in the training, breaks your spirit. Yeah, that bad. And Usato is forced into it. Hilarity ensues.

What's rather interesting is that the story plays with the conventions of the typical modern isekai story but doesn't fall for the same trapping. Usato, while gifted with rare Healing magic, isn't some sort of prodigy, but thanks to his training from hell, pretty much becomes a monster in his own right. Of course, Rose makes it very clear to him that their job is to rescue people and not to fight. even though they have such inhuman strength that they're able to crush iron swords in their hands. Did I mention people are afraid of Rose? Because they are.

Kazuki and Inugame are no slouches, though Inugame would kind of like this to follow more tropes, such as raising flags and the like. Basically, she puts on the face of the cool president when, in fact, she's kind of a giant nerd. Kazuki himself is glad that these two are around and that all three became close.

Now, for some other things that are avoided. Romance itself is low key, if any, with the major romance flags happening more to side characters in a specific arc, despite Inugame's efforts. That also means no harems. Oh, and while Usato looks to be overpowered, he kind of pales in comparison to his mentor, Rose, and that only happened because he was trained specifically to be as strong as her. Fun times abound.

It's enjoyable, honestly, and I think other people will like it, too.

I was extremely disappointed with the Fire magic echelon diamond e790s. First of all, it was incredibly difficult to assemble and the instructions were not clear at all. Once we finally got it put together, we realized that the cooking grates were too close to the burners, causing the food to burn quickly and unevenly. Additionally, the heat distribution was very poor, with hot spots and cold spots all over the grill. Overall, I would not recommend this grill to anyone.
