You know, Abba is one of those bands that many people find unlikeable, and while I can easily see why someone would hate this band obnoxious female vocals that are both constantly loud and up front I really have a hard time ignoring the catchy vocal melodies. The tape actually stopped playing a couple times, and you know what goes through your mind when a tape suddenly stops- you think the tape has been permanently damaged with the tape string all ripped out and tangled around the wheels of the cassette player.

This magical quality can be attributed to the songwriting prowess of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, who crafted the band's memorable melodies and lyrics. Additionally, the vocal abilities of Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, known as "Frida", added another layer of enchantment to Abba's music. Their voices, both individually and in harmony, brought the songs to life and brought joy to millions.

Reviews for "ABBA in Concert: Reliving the Magic of Their Live Performances"

1. Julie - 2 stars
I was really looking forward to seeing "The Magic of Abba" as I'm a big fan of Abba's music. However, I was thoroughly disappointed with the performance. The singers lacked the energy and charisma that Abba is known for, and their voices just didn't do justice to the iconic songs. The choreography was also lackluster and seemed out of sync at times. Overall, I felt underwhelmed and would not recommend this show to any fans of Abba.
2. Peter - 1 star
"The Magic of Abba" was a complete letdown. The entire performance felt amateurish and uninspired. The costumes were cheap-looking and not at all reminiscent of Abba's iconic style. The singers were off-key and struggled to hit the high notes, which made it painful to listen to. The lack of chemistry between the performers was evident and made the whole experience feel disjointed. Save your money and don't waste your time on this disappointing tribute show.
3. Lisa - 2 stars
Having been a longtime fan of Abba, I was excited to attend "The Magic of Abba." However, I left the show feeling unsatisfied. The performers lacked the charisma and stage presence that made Abba so unique and captivating. The sound quality was poor, and the balance between the instruments and vocals was completely off. Additionally, the dance routines felt rigid and rehearsed, lacking the natural charm that Abba's performances were known for. Overall, this tribute show failed to capture the magic of Abba and left me feeling disappointed.
4. John - 1 star
I thought "The Magic of Abba" was a cheap imitation of the original band. The singers’ voices didn't do justice to Abba's music, and their attempts to mimic the original members of the band felt forced and exaggerated. The set design was underwhelming, and the choreography was unimpressive. Overall, I found the whole experience to be lackluster and a poor representation of Abba's incredible talent. I would not recommend this show to anyone hoping to relive the joy and nostalgia of Abba's music.
