You know, Abba is one of those bands that many people find unlikeable, and while I can easily see why someone would hate this band obnoxious female vocals that are both constantly loud and up front I really have a hard time ignoring the catchy vocal melodies. The tape actually stopped playing a couple times, and you know what goes through your mind when a tape suddenly stops- you think the tape has been permanently damaged with the tape string all ripped out and tangled around the wheels of the cassette player.
This magical quality can be attributed to the songwriting prowess of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, who crafted the band's memorable melodies and lyrics. Additionally, the vocal abilities of Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, known as "Frida", added another layer of enchantment to Abba's music.
