i charged them and they just wrecked all my heavy cav, and infantry. as soon as theyre hit once u lose control, u cant get them out of combat so its an endless loop. wow.

Try ranged maybe, instead dumb firing into one of best glass cannon units in the game for melee, seeing as they have like no armour or block chance.

is your army made up of nothing but spearmen and mostly ranged cav or do you have a decent amount of huntsmen archers? If they were hitting the witch elves they should die in 5 volleys or less. I think if you were running fire at will then they might have shot at darkspears by default. Its important to note that ranged cav do not have a very high dps compared to a dedicated ranged unit since they have half the unit size.

What id do personally with that composition is like, while witches are chewing apart your infantry(going to be rough which ever way slice it cos empire infantry kinda garbo all around versus any elf faction), get those cav right up behind em, try to kite and/or point blank volley em right.

Beyond that, try get warrior priest going to help out/deal with least one unit of them, and I’d personally try to get like four units huntsmen or w/e better archers are and/or crossbows going(so can always shoot over your melee line). Could try same fire on their flank with riflemen too but going to be rough as least with cav can out run them. Micro going to be name of game too, making sure don’t frenzy your cav etc.

Maybe lean hard on redline skills too so can get basic ranged and melee units little more damage and staying power right.

Dark elves are my main faction and tbh also wouldn’t beat yourself up too much, 4-5 units of witch elves in one army to me at least, that would give me anxiety if just had basic dark elf infantry myself right. They’re nasty, but weak af if can get damage on them. Fire mage too may help, assuming empire one has burning head, line that up right while they’re engaged with your front line and it outta weaken their murder spree a bit too.

Witch Elves have no shields, no armour. Your huntsmen should tear them apart.
You need to stop standing still. Send in cavalry to distract the WitchElves as you reposition. Or make them chase your cavalry as your archers rip them apart.

You let a anti infantry melee dps unit get to your infantry based archers. Archers which have almost no melee stats to speak of. Witchelves would tear through huntsmen once in melee.

Madness of Khaine applies rampage, rampage only can proc at 3 different hp% intervals. If you're above it, you cannot be rampaged. If you've already rampaged once at a certain interval, you cannot be rampaged again in said hp% interval, until the next threshold has been crossed.
