Music as a Conduit: Opening Doors to Otherworldly Dimensions in Practical Magic

By admin

Practical magic music is a term that encompasses the use of music in the practice of witchcraft, spellcasting, and other magical rituals. Music has long been associated with magic and mystical practices, as it has the power to alter and enhance our emotions, transcend time and space, and connect us to spiritual realms. In practical magic, music is used as a tool to create the desired atmosphere and energy for a ritual or spell. Different types of music are chosen based on their specific properties and associations. For example, slow, soothing music may be used for relaxation and meditation, while fast-paced, rhythmic music may be employed for invocations and energetic rituals. Music can be used to invoke certain energies or deities, as well as to raise personal energy levels during magical workings.

Everything else is nice and well built. It will last a long time given proper care.

The gimmicks are very hard to work and while I don t want to give away secrets here, let us just say I am afraid the gimmicks will break after just a short time of use. Answering your question Tennispro Yes, you can turn it upside down and shake it if you will, but you want to make sure that the compartment inside is full of popcorn and well compress, no kernels with them so it is quiet and it doesn t sound.

Music can be used to invoke certain energies or deities, as well as to raise personal energy levels during magical workings. Many practitioners believe that certain types of music resonate with specific magical intentions or correspondences. For example, classical or instrumental music is often used for healing rituals, while drumming and chanting may be employed for shamanic journeying or trance work.

Just watched the video. nice idea but I wouldn't show the inside. just turn it upside down. It's really obvious that the "bottom" is 3/4 of the way up the inside of the box.

I caught that as well. I would think that it would have to be held close to a mike on stage to hear the popping sound. Hope someone can give us a review.

This is George Iglesias from Twister Magic and thanks for your interest in this product.I hope the next comments can solve any of your questions or doubts.

Harv: You are right it is not necessary to show the inside of the box just turn it upside down, but for most magicians it is important to show the inside and even if you do it, nobody will tell.

I create this trick a few years ago and have been playing with this trick for a long time. I can assure nobody will point the depth of the box, it never happen to me once in hundreds of performances. The audience don't know what is coming and it is so overwhelmed by the effect and the sound that you always pull great reactions and smiles from them, no questions about it. And if you are performing for kids you will be the king of the party. Its amazing how they relate to popcorn, how much they love it and how cool they think you are by being able to appear it with magic.

Fantastic: The sound comes from a sound module inside of the box. If you are performing on stage, yes you have to put the box close to your mic to be able to hear it. If you are performing parlor magic, the sound of the box will be easily hear by everybody, even if they are talking. You just have to be in a room al the sound will propagate. Be aware that high ceilings kills the eco and sound so, if you are in a hotel under high ceilings, then use the mic or you can always have a sound effect ready to play in your sound system at the time of performance.

I hope this can help, please do not hesitate in contact us with any questions.

Well I just ordered this so I will report on it when I get it. Seems like a nice effect for shows although I might actually try it in a bar or resturant walk around gig (after all I might get hungry walking around). I assume, George, in turning this upside down you can't shake it or everything might fall out? We'll see.

I just ordered it as well. I plan on using it during an upcoming stage gig in early November. It seems to me to be a fast opening effect. Will keep you informed as well.

Answering your question Tennispro: Yes, you can turn it upside down and shake it if you will, but you want to make sure that the compartment inside is full of popcorn and well compress, no kernels with them so it is quiet and it doesn't sound. In order to do that you just have to hold the box and apply pressure and the flap will not go down.

Any more reviews? Does it come with any eletronic device? Is it easy to change the battery for the sound device?

Posted: Oct 6, 2009 07:25 pm

Yes, it comes with an electronic sound module, so when you push the button you generate the real popcorn sound from inside of the box.

Battery have to be replaced after a 1000 hits, so unless you perform it more than a 1000 times you will never runout of battery. Anyway, we offer a replacement service in case that happen.

Posted: Oct 7, 2009 10:12 am How to clean the inner part of box? Posted: Oct 7, 2009 12:23 pm

You can clean it with a humidified soft cloth, since it all the interior is recovered with plastic. Howevere I suggest you to use normal popcorn for the trick instead of the buttered popcorn, that will leave more grease in the interior.

My friend show me this one,the idea is awasome, but I regret have to say the gimmick is very difficult to operate.

I've used mine several times, it is a cute effect. The sound of the popcorn 'popping' is a little bit low but putting it near a mike cures that problem. I have no problems working it at all, it is very visual.

I normally do not give reviews but I received mine and I have to say I am very disappointed in it. The gimmicks are very hard to work and while I don't want to give away secrets here, let us just say I am afraid the gimmicks will break after just a short time of use.

Bottom line and this is for me personally as others may feel differently. I will probably end up not using it and do not think it is particularly well-made.

The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy. Posted: Feb 4, 2010 03:17 am

Revmike:
I appreciate your review more than any others because you don't normally post a review. This seals it for me, and I was on the fence. Thanks for the honest critique.

I agree .The construction is poorly designed and I can not believe that it will hold up over a period od time. Do not purchaace from George < as I did,His dealers sell product for over $20.00 less then his price.I wrote him and he did not reply>

When I saw an amazing Prime Day sale on Amazon, I decided it was worth trying. I purchased this model. This is a fairly inexpensive thing and I figured it was worth a try!
Practical magiv music

In addition to its role in setting the tone and atmosphere for rituals, music can also be used to create spells or charms. Chanting or singing specific words or incantations can help to focus intention and manifest desired outcomes. This is similar to the concept of mantras in Eastern spiritual traditions. Music has the ability to tap into our subconscious mind and bypass our rational thoughts, making it a powerful tool for magic. It can activate our intuition, enhance our psychic abilities, and create a sacred space for spiritual exploration. The vibrations and frequencies of music can also help to align our energy with the natural rhythms of the universe, promoting balance and harmony within ourselves and our environment. In conclusion, practical magic music is a versatile and potent tool for witches and practitioners of magic. By harnessing the power of music, we can amplify our intentions, connect with higher realms, and enhance the effectiveness of our spells and rituals. Whether through listening, chanting, or creating our own music, we can tap into the magical potential of sound and use it to manifest our desires..

Reviews for "The Dance of Enchantment: Exploring the Movement Elements in Practical Magic Music"

1. John - 2/5
I was really disappointed with "Practical Magic Music". As a fan of the movie, I was expecting a soundtrack that would capture the magical and enchanting atmosphere of the film. However, the music just fell flat for me. None of the tracks stood out and they all seemed generic and forgettable. It was a missed opportunity to create something truly special that could transport listeners into the world of the film.
2. Emily - 1/5
I couldn't stand the "Practical Magic Music" album. It felt like a compilation of random songs rather than a cohesive soundtrack. The songs didn't have any connection to the movie or its themes. It was such a shame because the movie itself has such an amazing and magical soundtrack. I was expecting the same level of quality, but it just didn't deliver. Save your money and listen to the original movie soundtrack instead.
3. Sarah - 2/5
I was really excited to listen to the "Practical Magic Music" after being a fan of the film for years. Unfortunately, I was let down by the album. The music didn't capture the essence of the movie and didn't evoke the same emotions. It felt like a watered-down version of what could have been a fantastic soundtrack. Some of the songs were incohesive and didn't flow well together. Overall, I was disappointed and would not recommend this album to fans of the movie.
