I played Leliana's Song and had a great time. It's stylish, fun, and a little longer than I expected.

Witch Hunt It s essentially a 2-3 hour long teaser for Dragon Age 2 where little happens other than foreshadowing and hinting at things for the next game. It s a neat workaround, but still a pretty major design flaw when it would ve been easy to introduce each new piece of gameplay by itself as you started the story.

[Dragon Age: Origins] what dlc is worth buying? (1 Viewer)

EA currently have Awakening, Witch Hunt, Golems and Leiliana's Song for half price on Xbox live (until tomorrow).

And I could really do with a little more Dragon Age between now and March.
So help me out vgo - are any of the above dlc worth getting, or should I be looking at the other, full priced dlc?

Awakenings is pretty good; it's basically a full-fledged expansion, with different party members (except for one returning one). It doesn't exactly add a ton to the story, but it's definitely the most in-depth of the Dragon Age DLC.

Witch Hunt is very short, and it doesn't answer quite as many questions as the marketing implied it would, but it might be worth having just to tie up that plot thread.

I never actually finished Leliana's Song, though from what I saw, it was cute. Not essential, but not bad, either.

I haven´t played the other three yet (though I have Witch Hunt bought and downloaded), but Awakenings has been, so far, a really well-spent money. The story so far is fun, combat is FAR BETTER than on core DA, and you get more

I'm a huge fan of Witch Hunt, and like Awakening as the most substantive addition to Dragon Age playtime you can get, even if I don't find it to be the best stuff (it's still pretty damn good). Warden's Keep is nice, if somewhat insubstantial, and if you somehow don't have the Stone Prisoner, GET IT NOW. Leliana's Song is also pretty nice--it has some flaws, but is overall a good time and a worthwhile investment.

I would advise you to stay away from Darkspawn Chronicles, which is mostly hack and slash (and not even particularly good at that, from what I played), with a few story bonuses in the form of codex entries. Unfortunately, they are not great bits of story--quite sub-par for DA.

My utmost loathing is reserved for Golems of Amgarrak, for a variety of reasons, but if you like the combat engine of Dragon Age, I hear it's really good for challenging you on the higher difficulties. I didn't bother playing it on a high difficulty, and as a result, the "difficult" mechanics were just a pain in the ass, in addition to the terrible story.

General overviews of them:

Awakenings: Very good fullsized expansion to the game. Must have.

Warden's Keep: Very fun adventure with a neat story.

Stone Prisoner: Awesome character with cool little mission.

Return to Ostagar: Fairly meh short loot run in a previously tread area.

Leliana's Song: Fun little adventure.

Darkspawn Chronicles: Kind boring hack'n'slash redo of.. well the most boring part of the base game.

Golems of Amgarrak: Kind of eh dungeon that can run from ridicuously hard to very easy depending on your character optimization ability.

Witch Hunt: It's essentially a 2-3 hour long teaser for Dragon Age 2 where little happens other than foreshadowing and hinting at things for the next game.

I was really excited to try the Mousebase sleek magic mouse, but I was extremely disappointed with my purchase. The mouse feels cheap and flimsy, not at all what I expected from a product claiming to be sleek and high-quality. The scrolling wheel is also very loud and not smooth at all, which can be quite irritating during use. Overall, I would not recommend this mouse as there are much better options available for a similar price.
2. Mike - ★★☆☆☆
I bought the Mousebase sleek magic mouse based on the positive reviews I saw online, but unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The design is indeed sleek and lightweight, but the performance is lacking. The cursor frequently jumps on the screen, making it difficult to navigate accurately. The battery life is also quite poor, requiring frequent replacements. I was hoping for a reliable and efficient mouse, but this one falls short.
3. Sarah - ★★☆☆☆
I have been using the Mousebase sleek magic mouse for a couple of weeks now, and I'm not impressed. The mouse is very sensitive, often causing accidental clicks while I'm trying to move the cursor. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable, frequently disconnecting and requiring re-pairing. The sleek design is the only redeeming quality, but it doesn't compensate for the frustrating user experience. I would recommend looking at other options before investing in this mouse.
