STRONG BAD: Ooh, that's perfect! I've seen some stuff in that locker room that would scare more than just the hiccups out of you, let me tell ya. Let's check it on out!

There s a very good reason Chucky, who s taken on the soul of a serial killer in the body of a Good Guy doll thanks to voodoo, has captured our imaginations. As the gang exit the Haunted Locker Room and the scene begins to fade out, when Strong Mad walks past the puddle on the floor, the puddle overlaps his head.

This 50 Year Old Wilton New Hampshire Store Has Free Popcorn and Cookies

This past weekend, I found myself in Wilton, NH. (You can read about that story later.) My Dad came from Wilton and I still have family in that area. I've known about "The House by the Side of the Road," herein known as HSR, for as long as I can remember.

Before I go on, I am saving the best part of the story for last, so make sure you scroll down to the end.

When I was growing up, HSR was always there selling shrubbery, plants, bushes, pumpkins, just about anything to beautify your yard. WOW, have they expanded since then! They have so much more than outdoor plants now!

They Have Grown So Much

There were a few years that I would go by HSR and think, "Are they still open? What's going on in there?" Those years have gone by and now they are bigger and might I say. better than ever!

Worth The Trip

The HSR is located on the East side of Temple Mountain in Wilton, New Hampshire, on Route 101. If you're headed toward Peterborough, it's on the left side, "on the side of the road." It's so fun to go in to see everything they have!

Free Popcorn and It's Delicious!

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this beautiful machine with lovely bags of popcorn for the taking! You can even take two bags. They don't mind. Any more than that though, they might give you what my Mom used to call, "the hairy eyeball."

There's a Turtle Pond

As I explored the store, I came across turtles bathing! How cute is that! You can't touch the turtles, they are sunbathing! Would you want someone disturbing you while you bathe? I wouldn't. It was quite a sight to see and really cool for the kids!

Christmas Ornaments Abound!

It's almost October. Of COURSE, the Christmas stuff is out. Can you believe that the HSR has stuff for Christmas? It's true! I had to hold myself back not to buy anything.

Free Cookies Too

The HSR also has free cookies! You could spend hours in this place and they have set it up so you can. Snacks, turtles bathing, they even have a bathroom. I don't have a picture of that, but you've been in one, so you know what it looks like.

Fairy House Supplies

One of the trends of outdoor decorating is the Fairy House. I have one myself. I have two male Gnomes and they don't take kindly to strangers. They have a huge cat and lots of shrubbery around their house. I bought them a couple of new pieces here that I hope they like and don't think are gaudy.

Rows and Rows of Plants

This is really what the House by the Side of the Road is known for. Plants, plants and more plants. You can get anything you need there.

Best for Last

This is Oliver. He has a sign on his box that says, "Grumpy Cat." The guy behind the counter said it's mostly to keep the kids from bugging him too much. He didn't seem to grouchy to me. I petted him, but then left him alone. I will be back to check out him and his box.

MIKE: Look guys, a turducken!

Reviews for "Exploring the Setting of HSR's Halloweentown Witch"

1. Emily - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with "Halloweentown Witch HSR." I was a huge fan of the original "Halloweentown" series, but this sequel just didn't live up to my expectations. The plot was weak and predictable, and the dialogue felt forced. The acting was also subpar, with none of the charm and charisma that the original cast brought to the screen. Overall, it felt like a lazy attempt to cash in on the success of the first movie, without putting in any real effort to create an engaging and enjoyable story.
2. Jake - 1/5 - "Halloweentown Witch HSR" was a complete waste of time. I couldn't believe how poorly it was made. The special effects were cheap and laughable, and the costumes looked like they were pulled from a bargain bin. The characters lacked depth and the dialogue was cringeworthy. It's a shame, because I really loved the first "Halloweentown" movie, but this sequel was just plain bad. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.
3. Sarah - 2/5 - As a fan of the original "Halloweentown" series, I was excited to watch "Halloweentown Witch HSR." However, the movie fell flat for me. The storyline felt rushed and didn't have the same magical and enchanting feel as the previous films. The new characters were underdeveloped and didn't have the same charm as the original cast. Overall, it was a letdown and didn't live up to the expectations of a true "Halloweentown" fan.
