By admin

The Yeti Curse of the Slow Demon Cast is a movie that falls under the genre of fantasy horror. Released in 2020, it follows the story of a group of adventurers who stumble upon a long-lost Yeti curse while exploring the Himalayas. The curse, said to be cast by a slow demon, has haunted the region for centuries, causing death and destruction to anyone who dares to disturb its slumber. The movie begins with the introduction of the main characters, a team of archaeologists led by Dr. Emily Collins. Armed with their knowledge of ancient myths and legends, they embark on an expedition to uncover the secrets of the Himalayas.

On a red eye flight from LA to Boston, 10 people wake up to a shock. All the passengers and crew have vanished. When they try to contact the ground they make no connections. They land the plane only to discover that things haven't changed. But its like the world is dead. No one is there, the air is still, sound doesn't echo, the food is tasteless. A distant sound is getting louder, something is coming closer.

The year is 2509 and not only has Earth lost contact with the Ishimura and Isaac Clarke, but now also the USG O Bannon, the first responder ship sent to rescue them. Ash Williams and his girlfriend Linda find a log cabin in the woods with a voice recording from an archeologist who had recorded himself reciting ancient chants from â The Book of the Dead.

I am playing a gnome priest who just got crowned with fire immunity and shirt of the saints. I also managed to save Khelevaster thanks to *TWO* AoLS I found while ID scumming. I have also done all dwarven elder quests up to becoming champion of arena (not yet done it, that will be next). Then I guess I should try ToEF. Fire immunity should help in survival and a blessed =oIce I found in a ring shop upper in the CoC should help with item destruction but the problem is damage output. At the moment I am using sword of Nonnak since I haven't found better and I have no ball spells at all despite extensive ID scumming. I do have some magic missile, petrification, frost bolt and lightning bolt though.

Also, I encountered two troublesome enemies in CoC. One was named stone statue guarding Nature's Friend, the other an iron golem between living forest and Khelly. I just can't kill either of them (they just keep shrugging off my bolt spells and I can't do enough damage in melee). Fortunately I have TC and teleportation spell so I can pass them but if my char can't even kill such lowly enemies it doesn't bode well for rest.

So what should I do ? Become champion of arena and then trade the golden gladius for new skills ? Perhaps that would help in fighting those two.

The quest from Thrundarr after becoming arena champion gives you a good weapon. Blessed ring of damage in the right ring slot also helps with melee damage. However, frost bolt should be sufficient for ToEF, as everything except the boss is vulnerable to cold, and nothing has an excessively high chance to shrug off bolts.

Other locations to consider before ToEF would be: water temple, ice queen domain/frost giant caves, tomb of the high kings, and darkforge. Spells that would be especially useful would be: any fire magic (water temple/frost giant caves), invisibility (ice queen domain), darkness (frost giant caves), and lightning ball (darkforge).

If you need more specific advice, making a log file with the ) command and posting it here would help.

Ok, how should I post the log file ? Just copy-paste the contents to discussion ? I'm not sure as to how to add links to files or insert files.

Pasting the contents would be fine. Probably want to put it between tags (but use [] brackets instead of < >) to preserve the formatting.

PV is a bit low, but otherwise looking good. Ring of damage is more effective on the right finger, so switch it over and bless it. You should also go back to the dwarven graveyard and find the elemental gauntlets (or just equip them if you already have them). If you can find some 10+ PV armor you'll probably want to use it over shirt of the saints.

Finish up the arena quest and turn in the golden gladius for tactics and backstabbing (which combos well with darkness). Then complete the next quest, making sure to avoid being in melee range of the greater daemon (sacrifice or bolt it). This will give you a weapon with substantially better damage (8d5+3).

Next, you could head deeper into the CoC and deal with Water Temple. Most of the monsters are vulnerable to fire, so you'll be able to breeze through with Baptism of Fire. The boss doesn't have any magic resistance, so you can handle it pretty cleanly with Slow Monster and bolt spells. This will give you an item you can throw in the tool slot.

This character should be able to handle Ice Queen Domain and the frost giant caves. Ice Queen area is a bit tricky - I'd recommend reading the wiki for this, or at least avoiding killing monsters as much as possible. Main benefits would be more XP and a potion of cure corruption which you can use to seriously damage the boss of ToEF.

Darkforge is also a possibility once you get a weapon upgrade, although you'll probably need to lean pretty heavily on the healing spells to get you through. Again, there's a decent amount of XP here, and there's a small chance you'll find a weapon or armor upgrade.

After some or all of these areas, you should be in pretty good shape for ToEF. The character could probably get through it right now with frost bolt, but there wouldn't be much room for error when fighting the boss.

Regarding bolting the dwarftown demon, does the BUC-state of bow have any effect on hurting demons/undead or only the status of missiles ? I do have plenty of holy water (25) so blessing arrows is not a problem. Don't have any demon slaying ammo, though. But I guess if I blessed both bow and arrows, cast bless on character (I have bless at moderately high level) and set tactics to berserk killing the demon should not be that hard (since I can keep my distance using teleportation).

And yes, I do have the elemental gauntlets, just was not wearing them (wasn't it so that wearing multiple artifacts increases food consumption for non-crowned characters ? ). But since that character is crowned now it is no longer a concern.

Regarding better PV armor I recall I had a dragon scale mail (white, IIRC) I sold to dwarftown shop, though I am not sure. If I do buying it back should not be a problem after doing the arena quest (since the char also has talents silver tongue and natural trader giving REALLY good shop prices).

Healing spells for Darkforge should not be a problem since the char has lots of them (have been scumming ID a lot). Spenseweed could also help in a pinch and IIRC the char also has plenty of healing potions.

I guess I should also go buy the b=oIce from the ring shop before heading to Darkforge or ToEF to protect my stuff from fire.

Also, I do already have 2 potions of cure corruption (one uncursed, one blessed). I guess I should stash them to some safe place before heading to ToEF. I use them by equipping them to missile slot and (T)hrowing, right ? I actually had to use two b!oEx that way to get rid of some pestering felines (so far have successfully managed to avoid killing any).

Only the status of the missiles matters.

Hunger from artifacts is a thing (+1 per 2 artifacts, or +1 per 4 when crowned), but not really worth worrying about. Being more powerful is worth having to eat a few more cooked lizards or stomafilia.

Yes, to use potions of cure corruption on corrupting monsters, you throw them. Blessed will deal more damage.

Ok, back from work. I checked the stack in the dwarftown shop and sure enough, there was the white dragon scale mail I had sold. After doing the arena quest I should have no problems affording to bui it back. I just need to drop some loot before going to ice queens place since the ice will only carry at most 3000 stones. But that is not an issue right now.

Also, regarding the place itself, according to the wiki out of the ice monsters there only invisible stalkers and ice queen can see invisible so if I had invisibility I could simply sneak past most enemies without problems, right ? The ring shop in the level above dwarftown had both ring of fire (in addition to the ring of ice I mentioned earlier) and ring of invisibility so that should be sorted, right ? I just can't afford the ring of invisibility right away but it should not be a problem after arena. For the last level I could wear ancient mummy wrapping for see invisible since the invisible stalkers there should not be that tough.

10 сен. 2019 в 7:37

The invisible stalkers aren’t hostile. So you don’t need to see them. They’ll just stay out of your way if you just walk down the corridor without exploring. And yes the ring of invis is great for getting through the battle room and yeti room

All right, I became an arena champion (had to teleport one feline out of arena), traded in the golden gladius for skills, did the water temple and took out the demon (not too hard with some teleporting, very aggressive tactics and blessed arrows). I also swapped armor for the dragon scale mail. I guess next stop is ice queen place then ?

Returning to this with a new character. Sadly the old char bit it in the greater vault (fire vault) while trying to do the frost giant king quest (managed to clear the outer chamber, but then stupidly opened the inner chamber, got confused and blasted to oblivion. And the char had even found a spellbook of wish in the vault).

With this new character I first spent a fair amount of time farming spellbooks in ID3 (IME that is a good place early on for spellbook farming), then did pyramid, got the first two quests and Griffyard from Thrundarr, then went to ID9 to farm water and more spells (IME water is quite common there). Got lucky with dwarven halls with downstairs being in adjacent room on both levels so I could quickly pass both levels. Got surge of power on DH1, though, but didn't feel like risking it.

Last thing I did was retrieve High Kings ring. The cavernous levels were not that bad with magic mapping, TP and TC. There was an ultimate doppelganger on the last cavernous level, though, but I managed to kill it with teleport and magic missile.

Haven't done dwarftown demon quest, water temple or ice queen quests yet. I guess the demon is next. It should fall easily to blessed arrows (I may even have demon slayers, need to check). As for ice queen I am worried that without ring of fire I'm going to lose a lot of stuff (no ring shop so far). And with over 60 days passed I should not dally.

Anyway, here is character dump
