The evolution of Wiccan beliefs in the 21st century

Wicca is a modern pagan religious movement that emerged in the mid-20th century. It is a nature-based belief system that worships the divine in various forms, particularly in the goddess and god. Wiccans follow a polytheistic belief system, which means they believe in multiple gods and goddesses. They celebrate and honor nature and the cycles of life, such as the changing of seasons. The term "Wicca" comes from the Old English word "wicce," which means "wise one" or "sorceress." Wiccans often refer to themselves as witches, but it is important to note that not all Wiccans identify as witches, and not all witches are Wiccans.

"I mean, it would have been really easy to let the wheels start spinning and really kind of let it get out of control, but I just kind of doubled down on my routine and knew I was hitting it well, even though I hadn't hit any good shots yet," Harman said. "Staying patient out there is paramount. Sometimes it's a lot harder than others, but really proud of the way that I hung in there."

Harman is only the third golfer to lead by 5 strokes or more in the Open Championship; James Braid 1908 and Henry Cotton 1934 both won after having such leads. The fact that Harmon shot course records on historic Winged Foot s East 61 and West 61 and a 60 on venerable Seminole and those records still stand today speaks to the greatness of his game.
