Simply amazing Let me start of by saying it is such a beautiful tour. Our tour guides Issac and Luis were great. They explained everything to us and we’re very patient. (We took a lot of pictures) Issac and Luis also offered to take pictures of our group along the way. Prior to the hike some of our group was a little worried that the hike it self would be to “hard” trust me if you think it will be too hard it’s not! It has certain points where we were a little out of breath but only for 2-3 minutes. It’s not hard at all so for anyone reading this who things they don’t want to do because it might be too difficult of a hike believe me, you can do it! We decided to go for the “luxury package”. Trust me when i say it was completely worth every penny. We got our own private pool along with 2 bottles of wine and a cheese and crackers plate. We were having such a good time we decided to order an additional bottle of wine lol. While swimming in our own private pool Luis and Issac took pictures of us with our phones while swimming but also gave us privacy when we needed it. It was truly one of the most wonderful experiences me and my group have experienced. I would definitely recommend it to everyone!

Serene day in the rainforest. Pablo was an excellent tour guide. We enjoyed getting to know him on our tour. Sensoria is beautiful. The waterfalls and swimming holes are meditative. The hike is not hard but does have lots of steps. I left feeling relaxed. I had a great experience and would come again.

Informative, Beautiful & Relaxing We took the Amstar Sensoria Land of Senses Excursion on May 27, 2023. We are sorry to say we cannot remember our guide's name, but he did a superb job in leading us through the rainforest to water falls and natural pools. His knowledge of the ecosystem appeared thorough and was interesting. He was energetic and patient in pointing out the wildlife. This is the only time we saw sloths during our vacation. The rainforest itself was beautiful. Swimming in the pools was very relaxing. I remember chicken and rice for the provided lunch that was delicious. The fact that this area experienced a small volcanic eruption (all ash, no lava) two days previous added to the experience. We highly recommend this Excursion.

A great family hike, beautiful sights and a terrific guide We took a private tour, just three of us. Hernan was our guide and he was terrific. Very kind and knowledgeable. He showed us many animals and told us much about the plants and the jungle. He also took fantastic pictures, both with his camera, which he shared with us, and with my camera. He is definitely a skilled photographer and can do things I cannot do with an iPhone camera. We went at our own pace and had plenty of time to enjoy the waterfalls and pools. The hiking was moderately challenging, mostly because of several steep stairways. No special hiking skills needed, but a little bit of fitness is necessary to do the long version of the trail. Overall, very enjoyable and worthwhile.

Incredible Rainforest Experience We had an incredible day in the rainforest at Sensoria! Our group was only 6 people and we saw 3 other small groups in passing. Paco was our guide all day. Daniel was our driver who spotted a sloth on the way! Juan was our other guide at Sensoria. He didn’t speak English, but communicated through pictures of plants and animals that he showed us. He was also the BEST photographer. We were incredibly lucky and saw so many animals. Howler monkeys, spider monkeys, a viper, different birds and a basilisk. Paco and Juan let us take our time on the hike and we got to swim in 3 different waterfalls. The hike took about 3 hrs and there were lots of stairs. We were prepared with hiking shoes but everyone else in our group wore sneakers and we’re fine. Lunch was wonderful. We would do it again!

Beautiful and great guide! This is such a beautiful spot! The waterfalls and swimming holes are all stunning and feel very natural and wild compared to some of the other tours we did while in Costa Rica. On top of the beautiful nature, we had an AMAZING tour guide, Pablo, who just went above and beyond for us! His English was great and he taught us so much about the forest during our time there. We’ll definitely be back!

Love the Rainforest This place was magical. This was my first trip to Costa Rica with my mom and my two sisters. This is a bucket list place to check out. I will try to make this a short review but it’s so hard to make it short. We were greeted by Joaquin Matarrita our guide and an ice cold glass of juice before he told us what to expect on this trip. I highly recommend a walking stick or sticks . It has lots of steps and it had just rained before we got there but then the sun came out for us. My mom is 80 years old and she did this tour with us. I was so proud of her with all the steps she had to take she loved it. Joaquin was so knowledgeable and professional. He spoke English very well and answered all of our questions and was very patient with us. After the tour we got to choose a meal which we chose the local dish of chicken and rice with a wonderful fruit smoothie that filled our tummies. I hope you get to see this fabulous place. Thank you Joaquin! Jen from Texas;)

Wow! My wife in I were in Costa Rica for a week. Of all the experiences we had, this was the best. Many of us have seen pictures of the rain forest but to see it in person and walk through it truly gives you a new appreciation of its beauty and the reason we need to protect it. Our tour guide Genesis was great. She was very knowledgeable and made us very comfortable. Swimming in the waterfalls was amazing.I highly recommend that anyone visiting Costa Rica visit Sansoria.

An incredible experience, Abbie was wonderful We were picked up by Byron early in the morning. We were the only ones in the van which was nice. Byron was a great driver. It was a long drive (about three hours from JW Marriott) but we were comfortable. We were lucky enough to have Abbie as our tour guide when we arrived. She was extremely knowledgeable and matched our pace. She was happy to stay in one spot if we were enjoying it and was well aware if she needed to slow down or speed up. She took us up to the viewing platform and although it was not a clear day it was still beautiful. We saw a pit viper almost immediately. Abbie used our phones to get close up photos for us. She was very capable and we felt safe with her guiding us. The various guides communicate with radios and when an anteater was spotted we hurried ahead and were amazed to find it hanging out in a tree. We also saw birds and lizards and ate termites (yep, they were minty). We saw the most amazing waterfalls. The first one was like from a scene from a movie. We swam in a second waterfall area and then visited four other pools each getting warmer as we went. Abbie told us all about the vegetation and answered all our questions. At the end of the tour we had lunch and saw two more pit vipers and some hummingbirds. It was so interesting and we all felt very adventurous. Such a unique experience! We did come prepared with deet free bug repellent and bottled water. I brought a backpack with a towel and sandals and wore a swimsuit under my t-shirt and shorts. Byron had told us to purchase ponchos and we did, which he stopped at a souvenir store for us to purchase. There were lockers at the beginning of the tour which we put some dry clothes in thinking we would need them so we would not have to sit in wet swimsuits on the drive back. But during the last 15 minutes of our four hour tour, we got caught in a torrential downpour. Man did those ponchos come in handy. Thanks Byron! And we were so grateful for our dry clothes back in the lockers. The lunch was good. We were very hungry by that time. We headed back with Byron and on the drive back he spotted a sloth in a tree and stopped for us to get photos. And then a coati ran across the road and then Byron stopped again for some toucans in a tree. Just so incredible. We did get stuck in traffic in Liberia and it took us four hours to get back to our hotel, but so, so worth it! Highly recommend!!

Worth the time Worth the drive and money. Hector was an awesome guide. Lunch was delicious. There was only one hot pool at end and no mud bath pools.

Thank you Sensoria & Abbie!! We stayed at the Dreams Las Mareas resort, and chose Sensoria Land of Senses as one of our excursions. The hiking trails and waterfalls here were gorgeous and well taken care of, and our tour guide Abbie was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. Having Abbie with us was without a doubt the best part of the excursion - She knew every single detail, and was happy to answer all of our questions. We saw a few small lizards and two snakes, I’m sure we walked past more but the wildlife is extremely hard to detect because of their ability to camouflage. The commute from the resort was quite long, 2.5 hrs each way, but we stopped at a local coffee/snack shop which was great to see. The roads in Costa Rica are poorly maintained and extremely bumpy, but the scenery is absolutely gorgeous so it isn’t too bad.

Beautiful Day Trip This is a beautiful spot with nice waterfalls and hot springs. We had a beautiful day for a hike but didn't see any wildlife at all which was a little disappointing. Some of the trails are steep and you need to be confident (and realistic) in your physical ability before signing up. I am in my late 50s with a trick knee and I think this was at the limit of my abilities. The drive from El Capo across the continental divide was nice too on way way there. The trip back, due to poor Costa Rican roads, was a bit of a drag.

Helpful tips Great activity, here are some thoughts:1. I wouldn’t consider this a hike. It’s more like a moderate rainforest stroll with a decent amount of stairs in and out (not difficult). 2. Wear water shoes and a swimsuit, don’t waste your time with hiking shoes or clothing. You’ll find it significantly easier to not bring a towel, socks, hiking shoes or clothing, etc. You move from one pool/waterfall to another that makes cleaning and changing inefficient.3. Depending on your tolerance of warm rain, you may choose to bring an umbrella. 4. Don’t bring a towel, instead have it waiting for you at the free lockers in the main house OR they rent them for $2 ea.5. Having a fresh set of clothes waiting for you at the main house would also go a long way, especially if you drove a few hours to get there.

Uh oh its maagic

It challenges our perception of reality and invites us to question what we think we know. Magic tricks, for example, rely on misdirection and sleight of hand to deceive our senses. They make us doubt our own eyes and keep us guessing how the trick was done. The thrill of uncovering the secret behind a magic trick is part of the charm. Beyond the realm of entertainment, magic holds a significant place in various cultural practices and traditions. Throughout history, shamans, witches, and magicians have used rituals and spells to connect with the spiritual world. In some societies, magic is believed to bring good luck, heal illnesses, or protect against evil spirits. It serves as a bridge between the seen and the unseen, offering comfort and hope. In literature and popular culture, magic has been a recurrent theme. From stories of mythical creatures and wizards to tales of witches and sorcery, magic adds an element of wonder to the narrative. It allows us to escape into a world where anything is possible and indulge in the thrill of the supernatural. However, as much as magic appeals to our sense of fascination, it is also important to approach it with a critical mindset. The line between reality and illusion can be blurred, and it is crucial to question and explore the boundaries of what is genuinely magical and what is simply clever trickery. So the next time you witness a magic trick or read a fantastical story, let yourself be carried away by the wonders it offers. Embrace the mystery and let your imagination roam free. After all, uh oh, it's magic!.

Reviews for "The Magic of Science: Exploring the Intersection of Magic and Physics"

1. Emily - 2/5 - "Uh oh its maagic" was a disappointment for me. I found the plot to be predictable and lacking depth. The characters were one-dimensional and I couldn't connect with any of them. Additionally, the dialogue was cheesy and the humor fell flat. Overall, I was hoping for a more engaging and captivating story, but unfortunately, this movie did not deliver.
2. Michael - 1/5 - I regret watching "Uh oh its maagic." The film was filled with clichés, poorly executed special effects, and cringe-worthy acting. The story was unoriginal and uninteresting, leaving me bored throughout the entire movie. The attempts at humor were forced and unfunny. The lack of character development also made it difficult to care about what happened to them. I would not recommend wasting your time on this film.
3. Sarah - 2/5 - I had high hopes for "Uh oh its maagic," but it failed to meet my expectations. The storyline felt rushed and poorly written. The transitions between scenes were jarring, making it difficult to follow the plot. The performances were lackluster, and the chemistry between the actors was non-existent. The movie had potential, but unfortunately, it fell short in various aspects. I was left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied.
4. Alex - 2/5 - "Uh oh its maagic" was a mediocre film at best. While the concept was interesting, the execution was lacking. The pacing was off, with slow moments dragging on and important plot points being rushed through. The characters were underdeveloped, and their motivations remained unclear. The special effects were also subpar, making some scenes feel cheap and unrealistic. Overall, I found the movie to be forgettable and not worth the time.
5. Jessica - 3/5 - "Uh oh its maagic" had its moments, but overall, it fell short. The plot had potential, but it lacked depth and failed to fully explore the intriguing concepts that were introduced. The acting was decent, but there were moments of overacting that were distracting. The movie also struggled to find a consistent tone, swinging between comedy and drama without a clear balance. While it had some entertaining moments, the film was ultimately forgettable and didn't leave a lasting impression.
