The Evolution of Tarot Witch of the Black Rose Nr 1

By admin

Tarot Witch of the Black Rose Nr 1 is a comic book that follows the adventures of the titular character, Tarot, a powerful witch who fights evil forces to protect the realm of witches and magic. The comic book is written and illustrated by Jim Balent. In the first issue, we are introduced to Tarot, a voluptuous and strong-willed witch who is the protector of the realms of Witchcraft. Tarot is accompanied by her familiar, a black cat named Pooka, who aids her in her battle against the forces of darkness. The main conflict in this issue revolves around Tarot's encounter with a group of dark elves who are trying to unleash a powerful evil force upon the world. Tarot fights against the dark elves using her magical abilities and her knowledge of witchcraft.

HISTORY
The quicksilver amulet was first created by the alchemist known as Vyn Durgrugan , the Slug Hunter of Dar’Spelun Slugmarsh. He crafted it while investigating the strange abilities of the karz slugs that inhabit the caverns near the Shroudstone, caused by their consumption of the flora and fauna surrounding the mysterious locale. He was never satisfied with its functionality as the quicksilver amulet also inherited the adverse effects that are common maladies where the veil between sanity and insanity is faint. The instructions for its creation can also be found in Vyn’s alchemical formula journal.

He crafted it while investigating the strange abilities of the karz slugs that inhabit the caverns near the Shroudstone, caused by their consumption of the flora and fauna surrounding the mysterious locale. I would say like 80 of the games that occurs seamlessly and of that other 20 , usually some early treasure production can help fix my mana issue to get Kaalia out like 50 of the time.

Azoth2099 I've never tried Moxfield! I pre-emptively imported the deck in there (www.moxfield.com/decks/_LTrrj5RfUKsBLkk0pXm4g) just in case but no idea how to go about co-brewing it :)

Cards I enjoy the most

I already swapped Mirror March with the Goblin Engineer ! The Welder might be better in some situations but I just don't wanna draw him with an empty graveyard when the deck struggles so much with card draw and dead draws.

I have tested Sneak Attack and although it's a powerful card, I find it empties my hand too quick and then I run out of gas :(

I've had more luck just using the Quicksilver Amulet , it's more mana expensive but playing dragons as instant before the start of turn and having they stick has worked better than hitting once for 5-10. When I need fast damage I use Zirilan to get Dragon Tyrant :) And if I already drew it, I hope to get a scroll rack, the amulet or get a wheel effect (blazing shoal should also be pretty good)

You’re using Quicksilver Amulet … what do you think about Monster Manual … it’s not that mana-extensive…

If you want to add blightsteel I'd recommend adding either Quicksilver Amulet or Kuldotha Forgemaster these are easy ways to cheat him down. However most infect decks are all about speed and ramp so I'd stay away from Blightsteel Colossus I have an entire deck based around playing him and it's already hard enough to get him down. Another good one is Vines of Vastwood

E q u i v o c a l V i s i o n - Thanks for the compliments! Definitely still a work in progress if you read the notes/updates but it is getting there! It would be so easy to make so MANY Kaalia decks as there are so many good angels, demons, and dragons but so far I am loving the dragon synergy. I really want to get Ancient Gold Dragon added for combos off Terror of the Peaks , Dragon Tempest , or Scourge of Valkas as rolling a ten with no damage modifiers out or no other dragons in play equates to 66 damage :)

I had never seen Zirilan of the Claw . interesting card. You are also not the first to mention Quicksilver Amulet so I really need to add that to the Maybe Board to experiment with. You are right about if people instantly kill Kaalia of the Vast the deck is pretty slow but that is where all those treasure producing enchantments should come in handy! Kaalia speeds up the deck significantly but without her it still does pick up stream, and makes me significantly less of a target until I am a target :)

Personally, I feel like using cards like Sneak Attack to cheat creatures out only to have them possible exiled would do the deck as it is currently built a disservice but that is a unique twist this deck could take with the Flickering. has plenty of cards that you could add in to support that strategy to make it viable and there are enough demons, angels, and dragon with ETBs effects that could be used to punish, tutor, or protect as needed. I mean, could you imagine flickering Dockside Extortionist for 2x treasure production! I may take a stab at this idea in the future as I have never looked into a deck like that but it has potential.

I did take a look at your deck. Blast-Furnace Hellkite looks very similar to Sylvia Brightspear except it is a dragon. I like this! Lots of other angels and demons I had not seen before or would like to add to my deck but room is scarce.

Thanks again for the upvote and your thoughts, I appreciate it!

Very nice deck! I love Kaalia. Love your emphasis on dragons!

I have a couple of suggestions if you're open to them.

Have you considered Zirilan of the Claw ? Very good card if you're having trouble getting Kaalia to stick. People see her, they hate her, they kill her. Having a backup to cheat her out is always good. Along with Quicksilver Amulet . Good ways to make sure you don't get stuck unable to play something. Conjurer's Closet and Teleportation Circle are great in combination with Zirilan and also Sneak Attack . Imagine being able to sneak out a dragon for ONE mana, and then flickering it to untap at your end step and you get to them keep it. That's just insanely good. Or with Zirilan, you get to search for a dragon, give it haste, then flicker it to untap and keep it at the end of your turn. If you'd like, you can always check out my Kaalia deck for other ideas. I love Kaalia. I'd say she's my number one main deck I run. Kaalia's Bounce House

TheMeadiator - Thanks for the thoughts! So easy to go "nose blind" to your own decks so having some outside eyes is always so great to get needed feedback. I do enjoy the treasure theme but it is definitely not as efficient as it could be with Kaalia at the helm. She has a great ability but it is pretty hit or miss with the treasure product meaning some games I barely make any and others I drown in it with so many produced via Ancient Copper Dragon or a well placed Blood Money .

Hmmm. I had not thought about Quicksilver Amulet for this deck. that is a pretty good idea though and has merit. I will have to think about that but I do love the Ixalan set so good choice :)

Most games, I feel like the deck does not struggle to much in getting four lands to get out Kaalia by turn 4 and that is always the goal to get her out quick and have her swing often and early. I would say like 80% of the games that occurs seamlessly and of that other 20%, usually some early treasure production can help "fix" my mana issue to get Kaalia out like 50% of the time. So pretty consistent.

This is definitely my take at a Kaalia deck and I actually built it around Revel in Riches as I thought that was such a funny win combo that is pretty easy to achieve with the right circumstances. Plus with all the tutors, you can find thing like that pretty easy when desired :)

Reviews for "The Tarot Inspiration behind Tarot Witch of the Black Rose Nr 1"

1. John Smith - 1 star
I found "Tarot witch of the black rose nr 1" to be extremely disappointing. The artwork was subpar, with awkward and inconsistent character designs. The story lacked depth and failed to engage me. The dialogue felt forced and unnatural. Overall, I would not recommend this comic to anyone looking for a compelling and well-crafted storyline.
2. Sarah Johnson - 2 stars
I was really looking forward to reading "Tarot witch of the black rose nr 1," but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The art style was unique, but the excessive nudity and sexualized portrayal of the female characters overshadowed any potential enjoyment I could have had from the story. The plot felt disjointed and difficult to follow, leaving me confused and unsatisfied. I wouldn't recommend this comic unless you have a high tolerance for explicit content.
3. Michael Thompson - 1 star
I found "Tarot witch of the black rose nr 1" to be incredibly shallow and lacking substance. The characters were one-dimensional and uninteresting, and the dialogue was cliché and predictable. The story failed to captivate me, and I struggled to maintain interest throughout. The artwork was decent, but it wasn't enough to compensate for the lackluster storytelling. I would not recommend wasting your time on this comic.
