The Curse of Sleeping Beauty – She Ain’t Pretty, She Just Looks That Way.

I decided to watch The Curse of Sleeping Beauty solely based on the cover, which has never really been a good way to pick entertaining films. I knew nothing else about this film going in, but learned in the opening credits it was based on a graphic novel… or a drawing on a napkin. Either way, it has been adapted from something else…

Anyway, The Curse of Sleeping Beauty actually managed to impress me on the costumes and sets front. At times, they were over the top, but kudos to the design crew for putting together some great things very much deserving a better film. Every character, other than the main ones, and every setting had a neat feel to them. The dreamland, mansion, and even the very Hogwartsian style land registry office were eye candy unexpected in a film of this lower budget. I would have enjoyed all these aspects a lot more if the film didn’t try so hard to send me into a boredom coma.

Reviews for "Discover the Hidden Gems of the Sony Bravia Magic Remote"

1. John - 2 stars - I was really excited to try out the Sony Bravia Magic Remote, but I was left disappointed. The remote had a confusing layout and the buttons were too small and close together, making it difficult to navigate through the menus. The touchpad feature was also very sensitive and hard to control, often causing me to accidentally select the wrong option. Overall, I found the remote to be frustrating and not user-friendly at all.
2. Sarah - 1 star - The Sony Bravia Magic Remote is anything but magical. It constantly loses connection with the TV, requiring me to reset it multiple times a day. Even when it is connected, the response time is incredibly slow. I find myself pressing the buttons multiple times before the TV actually responds. It's incredibly frustrating and not worth the hassle. I would not recommend this remote to anyone.
3. Mike - 2 stars - The Sony Bravia Magic Remote is a nice concept, but the execution falls short. The voice control feature rarely understands what I'm saying and often misinterprets my commands. It's more of a gimmick than a useful tool. Additionally, the remote feels flimsy and cheaply made. The buttons are not very responsive and I often have to press them multiple times for them to register. Overall, I was disappointed with the performance and quality of this remote.
4. Emily - 2 stars - I found the Sony Bravia Magic Remote to be difficult to set up and sync with my TV. The instructions were not very clear and I had to search online for additional guidance. Once I finally got it working, I found the layout of the buttons to be confusing and unintuitive. It took me a while to get used to navigating through the menus. While the remote does offer some additional features, I don't think they make up for the overall poor user experience.
