Intrigued by his find, Peter carefully carried the egg home to show his family. His parents were equally amazed by the enchanted egg and encouraged Peter to discover its secrets.

A boy named Peter must save Easter. An evil character named Tin Whiskers takes over the town and re-names everything including the streets to have tin in the name. He has several animal friends who help him and Mother Nature even gives him help.

I won t spoil the surprise of the magic egg, but suffice it to say I don t think an animated special has quite made me feel so much like I was losing my fucking mind. There s a really genuine charm to Peter and the Magic Egg, with its gentle story about the Pennsylvania Dutch and music by the ever-wonderful Flo Eddie.
