Your crew has been hired to investigate sightings of the 'Mosquito Witch' a cryptid of legend. The town of Shimmerford is plagued with mosquitoes and it'll take a bunch of scrappy young adventurers to get to the bottom of this mystery.This adventure takes place on a swamp covered island in the Indigo Isles. The Player's Guide to Indigo Isles is free on the Battlezoo website. The original module has been updated for the setting. This will cover 'briefly' monster loot using monster parts. PCs will be level 1 standard creation rules. Keep in mind the setting is not human dominate setting. Check the free players guide for the Inigo Isles for more details. PCs need to be submitted 3 hours before the session. Premade characters will be provided including the four presented in the Indigo Isle material Flint, Nash, and Star.

How to prepare

Headset and Microphone required. Character choice submitted 3 hours before the game or pre-made selected at game time. You will be given a link to my foundry server, a player name, and password to access the game. Please note that this game server is my server and multiple games exist. If you do not see your game and you are trying to access it please message me on Discord.

What I provide

Foundry Server where I have: I have maps, tokens, lights, sounds, some voices all ready to go. Token hud rolls, measured movement, animated spell effects, and the best search bar you ever needed for an RPG. 3 hero points to start, 1 at the break, 1 for epic moments, 1 for repeating a critical fail with the same roll. Hopefully, you'll leave with a better understanding of the basic rules and have had a fun time.

Gameplay details

Foundry VTT for the game, walls, lights, sound effects, action bar. Discord for the audio. No camera required. I want everyone to have a good time and play one of my favorite short adventures from Pathfinder Society. This is not a society game. This adventure is close to a Monster's of the Week or an episode of Scooby-doo. I run lighthearted games with a lot of images, maps, tokens, lightning, and sound effects. Players will be allowed to play anything from the Pathfinder 2e rules, but Indigo Island content from Battlezoo is suggested. Characters will be provided for those who want them. This includes the pre-generated characters featured in the Indigo Isles first free chapters, Flint, Nash, Star, and Vaughn, as well as the society standard pre-generated. Players must submit their PC at least 3 hours before the game in the form of a pathbuilder link or an foundry file. If not please select a pre-made. No evil characters. This game is intended for new players please keep this in mind during character creation. Party balance is not required. There is an NPC to help with filling skill gaps if there is an issue and combat threat is low. I can help with character creation via discord chat if required but characters must be submitted 3 hours before the game. Please keep the conversational tone friendly and trauma informed.
