This, along with a generic and inconsistent magic system, prevents the setting from having a completely original feel.
Particularly powerful creatures, such as dragons, can be used for impressively powerful magic and have many different uses, even their snot has an entire spell book chapter. The ease and potency of dark magic eventually caused human dark mages to hunt and poach magical creatures to harvest their magical energy, as they needed fuel for their spells A griffin s talon, a feather from a Moon Phoenix, any part of a creature where magic was concentrated.
The occult aspect of the dragon prince alludes to their connection to esoteric knowledge and the supernatural. In many folklores, dragons are associated with magic, divination, and the ability to tap into hidden forces. As a result, an occult dragon prince may possess these mystical abilities, such as the power of prophecy, shape-shifting, or commanding elemental forces.
