I was hoping for something fresh and exciting, but this book felt like a rehash of previous installments. Additionally, the characters lacked depth and development, making it hard for me to connect with them. Overall, I found this book to be a letdown and not worth the read.
2. William - 1 star - I did not enjoy "Magic Tree House 9" at all. The writing style felt simplistic and childish, which made it hard for me to become invested in the story.
