Bee Propolis: A Natural Antibiotic Alternative

By admin

Medicinal plants have been widely used by many cultures around the world for centuries. These plants, often referred to as "mama medicine" or "bee magic," offer natural remedies for various ailments and provide a holistic approach to healing. The term "mama medicine" symbolizes the nurturing and caring qualities of medicinal plants. Throughout history, mothers and grandmothers have passed down their knowledge and wisdom of these plants, creating a rich tradition of herbal remedies. These remedies often include the use of plants such as chamomile, lavender, and peppermint, which have soothing and healing properties. On the other hand, "bee magic" refers to the vital role that bees play in pollination, which is crucial for the growth and reproduction of many medicinal plants.

Medicine Mama’s Apothecary Sweet Bee Magic Review

A few weeks ago I reached out to Medicine Mama’s Apothecary to see if they would be willing to work with me on a product review. They were kind enough to send me samples of their organic healing skin cream – Sweet Bee Magic and their intimate skin cream.

The healing skin cream “promotes radiant facial skin, heals rashes, burns and scars, relives painful sunburn, moisturizes dry or irritated skin, repairs cracked, dry heels.”

The skin cream is 100% organic and made of organic extra virgin olive oil, organic beeswax, organic honey, propolis extract, bee pollen and royal jelly. It is also fragrance free. At least to me, I do not have a very good sense of smell.

Over the last few week I’ve been using it for numerous issues to see how my body would react. I am delighted to say, everything I have used it for my body has not had any negaitve reaction.

I suffer from super dry skin, except for my face. I work in retail and my hands are constantly dry from the continuous washing or sanitizing when I don’t have time to run and wash my hands. The first thing I did was try this on my hands and I can not tell you what a great difference it has made. My skin is no longer dry and cracked.

It’s winter here in Pennsylvania and although this winter has not been as cold as the past few, my lips are also very dry. I am not a fan of chapstick or lip balm for the most part because I feel like those things leave a grimy residue behind, but not this. My lips absolutely love it.

The skin on my legs is terribly sensitive from constant shaving. No matter what razor, shaving cream or conditioner I use, my skin always reacts. Thankfully the sweet bee magic has even soothed and solved that problem.

In the last two years I have lost over 150 pounds with just diet and exercise, but due to my rapid weight loss I am left with stretch marks on my thighs and stomach. This has even helped fade and soften those!

Unfortunately, due to my oily skin I have not been brave enough to use it on my face. I have some post acne scars and I wonder if that would help those, but I have had them for so long…I really don’t know. I will try it on my face eventually, but I do need a day when I am home all day.

It’s a great product but due to the oil in it, it is a bit oily feeling, hence my hesitation to put it on my face. It has worked amazingly for everything else, though!

I’ve used up a full sample and have dug into the second. Sweet Bee Magic is a wonderful product and just a little goes a long way. I highly recommend it.

Medicinal plants offer a wide range of benefits. They can be used to treat common ailments such as colds, headaches, and digestive issues. Some plants, like aloe vera, are known for their ability to heal wounds and soothe burns. Others, like ginseng and turmeric, are used to boost the immune system and promote overall well-being. In recent years, there has been a renewed interest in traditional medicine and the use of medicinal plants. Many people are turning to these natural remedies as an alternative or complement to modern medicine. This shift can be attributed to a growing awareness of the potential side effects of synthetic drugs, as well as a desire for more sustainable and eco-friendly healthcare practices. While the use of medicinal plants can be beneficial, it is important to approach them with caution and respect. Some plants can be toxic if used improperly or in large quantities. It is always recommended to consult with a healthcare professional or herbalist before using any herbal remedies, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking medications. In conclusion, medicinal plants, or "mama medicine" and "bee magic," offer a natural and holistic approach to healing. Reviews for "Honey as Medicine: An Age-Old Tradition"

- Sarah - 1 star: I was really disappointed with Medicinr mamas bee majic. I had heard so many great things about it, but it just did not live up to the hype for me. I found the texture to be really sticky and uncomfortable, and it didn't absorb well into my skin. I also didn't notice any significant improvement in my skin's hydration or texture after using it for a few weeks. Overall, I ended up not using it anymore because it just didn't work for me.
- David - 2 stars: I had high hopes for Medicinr mamas bee majic, but unfortunately, it didn't work well for my sensitive skin. I found it to be quite irritating and it caused redness and breakouts. I tried using it for a couple of weeks, but my skin only got worse. I had to discontinue use and find an alternative product that better suited my skin's needs. I wouldn't recommend it for those with sensitive or reactive skin types.
- Emily - 2 stars: I personally didn't find Medicinr mamas bee majic to be very effective. I had heard that it was great for healing dry and damaged skin, but I didn't notice any significant changes in my skin's condition after using it consistently for a while. Additionally, I didn't like the strong scent of the product, which was overpowering to me. Overall, it just wasn't the right fit for me and I won't be repurchasing it.
