Camp is located on the enchanting grounds of Bryn Mawr College. This breathtaking 135-acre campus is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country.
He honed his magic and performance skills while delivering more than 3000 shows and studying at The University of Maryland - College Park, and The Studio Theater Acting Conservatory. Magic Camp is designed for beginning and experienced students alike. After taking the magician’s oath, our campers will be taught by master magicians, straight from the World Famous MAGIC CASTLE, on varied aspects of the craft. Each day of camp will build on the next, with our students learning, developing and perfecting the various elements that will become part of their act. Students begin with the foundation of the magician’s craft, learning about sleight of hand, redirection, hand and finger exercises, flourishes and magic theory. From there, our campers will progress to the mainstays of the magician’s repertoire, such as card tricks, the classic cups and balls, coin tricks, juggling, rings and strings, rope tricks, math magic, linking rings and more. And just as importantly, our campers will be taught how to fine tune their tricks into a polished, crowd-pleasing presentation.
Each exciting week of Magic Camp culminates in a performance, where our young magicians get to show off their skills before a live audience. Children can also stay on for multiple sessions of Magic Camp and expand their “act” along with their skills.
