All About the Cancun Cenotes

Millions of years ago, much of the Yucatan Peninsula was covered by ocean water. As ocean levels decreased through the Ice Age to the modern-day, the water receded to leave behind the peninsula we know today. This great movement of water led to massive erosion and the creation of cave systems and sinkholes connected to the sea.

If you know where to look, you can find bodies of seawater hidden within the land of the Yucatan Peninsula just outside of Cancun. These are the Cancun cenotes. Many of these amazing underground water sources feature truly breathtaking cave formations.

Others harbor a rich variety of marine life. By taking our Cenotes & Snorkeling Tour here at Cancun Adventures, you'll get to experience these natural wonders firsthand.

I was really disappointed with the "Magical cenote and paradise lagoon snorkeling adventure" tour. The cenote was overcrowded with tourists, making it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. Additionally, the water in the lagoon was murky and had poor visibility, making it hard to see anything underwater. The guides also seemed uninterested and didn't provide much information or assistance. Overall, it was a waste of money and I would not recommend this tour.

I had high expectations for the "Magical cenote and paradise lagoon snorkeling adventure" tour, but unfortunately, it fell short. The cenote was beautiful, but it was extremely crowded and noisy, making it hard to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The snorkeling in the lagoon was also disappointing as the water was cloudy and there wasn't much marine life to see. The guides were friendly, but there wasn't enough guidance and explanation about the cenote and lagoon. I would suggest looking for a different snorkeling tour in the area.

I was excited for the "Magical cenote and paradise lagoon snorkeling adventure," but it turned out to be a letdown. The cenote was overcrowded, giving it a chaotic atmosphere, and there were limited areas to explore due to the number of people. The water in the lagoon was also murky and filled with debris, which made snorkeling quite underwhelming. The guides were friendly, but they didn't provide much information or engage with the participants. Overall, I expected a more magical and enjoyable experience, and I would not recommend this tour to others.
