The principles of eclectic witchcraft involve the combination of various beliefs, practices, and traditions in order to create a personalized and unique spiritual path. This form of witchcraft draws from a diverse range of sources including different cultures, religions, mythologies, and magical systems. It embraces the idea that there is no single correct way to practice witchcraft and that each individual has the freedom to explore and incorporate what resonates with them personally. The main principle of eclectic witchcraft is the emphasis on personal intuition and autonomy. Eclectic witches believe in the power of personal experience and connection with the divine. They rely on their own inner wisdom to guide their practice and they are not bound by any strict rules or dogmas.

Haflinger constructs its footbed and sole out of rubber and a cork-latex mixture. The cork-latex mixture is anatomically shaped to promote proper foot health while simultaneously cushioning your steps. An incredible property of this blend of cork and latex is its ability to mold and adapt to your foot overtime. The cork layer is protected with a rubber slip-resistant sole which provides further shock absorption as well as versatility. Haflinger can be worn inside or outside thanks to this design.

With high arch support designed to maximize foot health, contoured cork footbeds that continues to adapt to your feet as you wear it, and 100 pure wool felt uppers. An anatomically contoured footbed provides arch support and the felt lined insole helps to wick away any moisture maintaining a healthy environment for your feet.

This allows for a creative and flexible approach, where practitioners can adapt and evolve their craft according to their needs and desires. Plantar fasciitis relief 02/16/2019
By ReadySetGo
I don't typically spend a lot of money on shoes. and I began to suffer ramifications for that when I was 51 years old. I am constantly on my feet, and life keeps me very busy. I began struggling with plantar fasciitis about 18 months ago with the pain being pretty constant throughout the day. After trying several types of orthotic inserts and support braces, I researched shoes that would benefit the condition. Haflinger became a name that I saw quite frequently in that research.

I bought two pairs - a wool/double-felt sole for indoor wear and the cork/latex footbed for outdoor. I do not exaggerate when I say that I felt pain relief within the first day of wearing them, and I continue to improve. The arch support (I have very high arches) in both of these shoes/slippers is superb.

Love these 01/02/2019

Haflinger's have been my go to slipper for close to a decade. This is my third pair. They are warm, comfortable and have excellent arch support which is very important to me. I don't wear them around town but love that I can go our to get the mail or newspaper or a quick trip to the grocery store without risk of getting them or my feet soggy. My only objection is that my normal size (39) is too wide and floppy so I have chosen to go a size down which has my toe touching the front when I walk and has caused the toe felt to completely wear through long before I would otherwise have to replace them. Still I have gotten about three years before the hole is too big. I am hoping that the stitching on this new and very attractive design will slow that process down!

Perfect and cozy! 08/14/2014

I do a lot of craft work in my basement which is cold all winter and spring. These slippers keep my feet warm because of the wool and seem to insulate my feet from the cold floor which otherwise would go right up to my feet. Perfect when you are sitting in your p.j.'s having that first cup of coffee in the morning, too. I'm buying another pair for my winter stay in Arizona because it is cold there in the morning, also.

Sizing has changed 09/26/2020
By Sally Bunce
This was the first time I bought shoes from Dodds Shoe Co. and I must say doing business with them is a real pleasure. I just love the look of these wool clogs which is why I'm giving them 2 stars. BUT something about the way Haflinger makes these wool clogs has changed. Maybe it's because they aren't made in Germany any longer. Now they're made in Slovakia. I've worn Haflinger clogs (wool, leather and even a unique "linen" looking fabric) for over 30 years and have always gotten size 36 which has always fit me perfectly. Until this pair--which is so large and so loose my heels slipped off the side, even with socks on. Thinking it might be this style, I exchanged them for the usual style with the embroidered trim. But they were exactly the same--way too loose across the instep. The ones I bought over the last 30 years were quite snug across the instep which was good because the wool "gives" a bit after some time. It's so disappointing, but I will have to try another brand of wool clogs

The Haflinger philosophy is simple and logicala healthy foot needs the proper environment and a properly designed walking surface to stay healthy. Haflinger clogs and boiled wool slippers pay particular attention to the needs of your footspace to expand and contract freely and effectively; breathable, all-natural materials; a footbed and spacious toe box that follow the natural form of the foot; and an impact surface that compliments and fortifies human foot design. Look for the Haflinger classic grizzly clog, the favorite Haflilnger classic hardsole slipper of many loyal customers.

Once the wool has been sheared it is washed in soft water. The washed wool is then carded and felted. The felt is then formed into a sock and steam-felted for the perfect fit. The steam-felted sock will then be glued and sewed to the sole.

Eclectic witches often incorporate elements from various cultures such as Celtic, Norse, Egyptian, or Indigenous traditions, as well as borrowing practices from Wicca, ceremonial magic, shamanism, or folk magic. This eclecticism allows practitioners to explore different perspectives, rituals, symbols, and tools, creating a rich tapestry of beliefs and practices that resonate with them. Eclectic witchcraft also places a strong emphasis on the ethics of magic. Practitioners strive to live in harmony with nature, honoring the interconnectedness of all living beings and the Earth. They believe in the concept of karma or the law of threefold return, where the energy and intention put into magical workings have a direct impact on the practitioner and their surroundings. This principle encourages responsible and ethical use of magic, with a focus on healing, empowerment, and positive transformation. In conclusion, the principles of eclectic witchcraft revolve around personal intuition, autonomy, integration of diverse traditions, and ethical practice. It embraces diversity, creativity, and flexibility, allowing individuals to create their unique spiritual path that resonates with their own beliefs, values, and experiences..
