L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation: A beauty editor's favorite product

By admin

L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation is a popular makeup product that aims to provide a natural and flawless finish to the skin. This foundation is unique in that it starts off as a liquid but dries down to a powder-like finish, hence the name "liquid powder." The main idea behind this product is to offer the benefits of both liquid and powder foundations in one formula. The foundation claims to provide lightweight coverage that evens out the skin tone while still allowing the natural beauty of the skin to shine through. It is designed to be buildable, so you can achieve the desired level of coverage without feeling heavy or cakey on the skin. The main goal is to create a "second skin" effect that looks and feels seamless.

Rum Review #2: Black Magic

I found a Rum brand via Instagram a few weeks ago and really took a liking to their image. Of course a gentleman pirate [at heart] like myself would gravitate towards a Rum brand such as Black Magic Rum. Their image is that of a ship and hidden in the sails and mast is a skull. Their catch phrase “Seek the Skull” instantly drew me in. So by sheer happen-stance, while on vacation in Florida, I connected with someone from the company via twitter and they pointed me to a store right down the road that carried Black Magic Rum. [Unfortunately my home state of Georgia doesn’t carry Black Magic Rum… yet.] I was able to swing by the store and pick up a bottle [wish it was more] and head back to the condo. The 750 mL bottle was around $20.00 which was only a few more dollars than I expected to pay. However, when compared to Kraken and Captain Morgan’s Cannon Blast at the same store it was equally priced. I guess Florida’s prices are about 4 or 5 bucks higher. I was kinda limited to beverages for mixing while on vacation, so I had to get creative. I figured that’d make for a better, more broad review of the rum. So the next day during some chill time, I grabbed a glass of Arnold Palmer and went to pour in some Black Magic Rum. The first thing I noticed was a stronger smell from the Black Magic Rum than the previous rums I’ve reviewed. It’s a very sweet smell, think caramel, with an underlying smell of alcohol. A smell of alcohol in an alcoholic beverage does make sense, but it drew my attention to the label. Black Magic Rum boasts 47% ABV [94 proof] as opposed 35% by the aforementioned brands. Quite a jump, and boy can you tell! The rum blended well with the Arny Palmy and was gone before I knew it. The next meeting with Black Magic Rum I used orange juice. I looked through the fridge and figured this would be an interesting mix. It was great. Spiced Rum and OJ was a great surprise. So far I was 2 for 2 with Black Magic Rum. The real test would come once I got home to blend it with old faithful- cranberry juice. Cranberry juice and rum is an easy drink to fix and a great blend, so I knew I could get a real feel for the rum after going back to my tried and true beverage of choice. Once again, I was not disappointed. Black Magic Rum blends well with everything I’ve tried so far. I quickly noticed the higher alcohol content after my second drink. Even if the rum was mediocre, which it is not, I would recommend it because the company is very quick to reach out to you and make you feel at home. I would highly encourage those who can get a bottle of Black Magic Rum to do so. Seek the Skull! #cheers

I was really excited to try the L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation after hearing great reviews, but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. The application process was messy, and it didn't blend well with my skin. The coverage was barely there, and it didn't even out my skin tone like I had hoped. I ended up having to apply multiple layers, which just resulted in a cakey and unnatural look. Overall, I was disappointed with this foundation and won't be repurchasing it.

I have sensitive skin, and I found that the L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation caused me to break out. The formula felt heavy and greasy on my skin, which was uncomfortable to wear throughout the day. The coverage was also poor, and it didn't hide any of my blemishes or redness. Despite trying different application techniques, it just didn't work for me. I wouldn't recommend this foundation to anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin.

I had high hopes for the L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation, but it fell short of my expectations. The shade range was limited, and I struggled to find a match for my skin tone. The formula was also quite drying, and it accentuated any dry patches on my face. Additionally, the foundation didn't last long on my skin and started to break apart after just a few hours of wear. I was disappointed with the overall performance of this product and won't be repurchasing it in the future.

I wasn't impressed with the L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation. While the texture felt nice upon application, it didn't provide enough coverage for my liking. I still had to use concealer to cover up blemishes and redness. I also found that it emphasized my pores and fine lines, which was quite unflattering. The finish was more dewy than matte, and it made my oily skin look even shinier throughout the day. Overall, this foundation didn't meet my expectations and I will be searching for a better alternative.
